"It was right under our noses all along, huh?" I said.
"Yeah... but I'm sure Lida will be fine with this... it's her true calling," said Maria.
"Definitely, she's really suited for it and seems to enjoy it," said Mel with agreement.
Since then, Lida and I have experienced several different jobs together.
And she ended up as a 'nanny (daycare workers)'.
Come to think of it, Lida liked to play a lot and was popular with the kids.
This is truly her calling.
'Play around with children and protect them from danger.'
Lida, the sword saint, can easily protect children by using his ability to sense danger...and she's happy to play with them since he enjoys it so much.

"Zect..." called Luna.

Today, Marin is hanging out with my mom and the others.
So, it's just Maria, Lida, Mel, and Luna in this place.
"Ahaha, it's funny, I used to think of Ceres as 'motherly', but Zect, you're like a mother too," Maria said, laughing.

"Don't worry about it! Looking back, Zect did his best...we can see that he tried hard even though the results didn't come out well," Maria replied.
"Yeah, Zect didn't do anything wrong for not being able to do it...and we were wrong for making Ceres's heart flutter for Zect," Mel added.
"Then..." Zect trailed off.
""It's a mutual thing (I guess),"" Maria and Mel said with a shrug.
Finally, the tension dissipated, and I was forgiven.
Lida's job is fixed, and everything is resolved. All that's left is to wait for Ceres and drink...yeah...
"You know, Zect, you've changed into a great guy," said Maria.
"Yeah, I think so too!" Mel said in aggreement.
What's the matter with them... They're all serious all of a sudden.
I feel like I've seen this kind of face somewhere before.
When was it?
"What's wrong!? You suddenly look serious... it's scary," I exclaimed, eyeing Maria and Mel with concern.
Maria hesitated before responding, "Well, you see, Zect... if you still had your old personality, I wouldn't have said anything... I wouldn't have wanted to be with you... but now it's different... can you take responsibility?"
Mel nodded in agreement, adding, "Yeah, that's right. Even though we didn't cross the final line, you played with our bodies... you have to take responsibility, right?"
I seemed taken aback by their accusations, asking, "Responsibility?"
Maria rolled her eyes, "What's wrong? You understand what responsibility means, right? You confessed that you like me and dedicated everything to me except my chastity as your girlfriend, right?"
Mel also rolled her eyes, "You touched my breasts and buttocks a lot, and even kissed me outside... How can you not take responsibility, 'Hero (Yuusha)-sama'? Or, since you even have a lovely slave for a princess... you won't say you don't want me, will you?"

Zect chuckled nervously, "I'll take responsibility... but we have to talk about this with Marin too, so please wait a while... and Lida, even after we're married, you still have to work."
""Zect... you're good"" Mel and Maria exchanged a look and said in unison.
"No... way" Lida stammered.
