Volume 5 Chapter 26 Choco Banana and Fairy
It's every student's dream to go around the cultural festival with a cute girl. I've dreamed of it many times before. Unfortunately, during middle school, I was in a different world, and during high school, I was with Souji. It was a rough time, and I was like a knife that hurt anyone who came near me, so girls wouldn't come close.
But now that I think about it, I've been around with a girl for two years in a row as a university student. Last year it was Tsukiko, and this year it's Lisha. I have nothing to say about their looks. I seem to have fulfilled my dream without realizing it.
"Yuusuke-san, let's go to that one next. Choco banana is definitely delicious. It's banana with chocolate, what a luxury. We can't skip it, can we?"
"Should we not?"
"We can't do that. Isn't it Saint's duty to eat and confirm it?"
Choco banana and Saint's duty.
It's strange. I should have fulfilled my dream, but I can't feel the excitement and thrill that I imagined. When I went around with Tsukiko last year, we were both nervous and couldn't talk well, but it made my heart flutter. It was a completely different excitement from fighting.
The situation is similar, but now I feel full and uncomfortable. It's definitely heartburn.
However, I couldn't stop Lisha, who was in high spirits, and was dragged to the choco banana shop.
"Excuse me, one choco banana... Will Yuusuke-san eat it?"

Lisha orders energetically. I'm already full. We started with yakisoba, then okonomiyaki, takoyaki, crepes, and mini castella. It won't end until we beat all the festival all-stars.
Thanks to the aid money from the Anti-Demon Special Forces for Lisha and Kanami, we're not in financial trouble, but the problem is the stomachs.
Lisha eats so much that I wonder where it all goes in her thin body. Is her stomach a black hole? Or is all the nutrition and volume consumed in her chest?
If that's the case, her miraculous proportions make sense.
The male clerk who was sticking "Koala's March" on the choco bananas raised his face.
"One choco banana, understooddddd?!"
"Yes, please."
"O-o-o-okay!"
The clerk became obviously suspicious and the koalas started skating on ice. I'm used to this movement now...
"Ah, actually, we're holding a rock-paper-scissors game now. If you win, you can get one more choco banana."
"I see. Then please."
In contrast to the clerk, Risha raised her fist with a serious look on her face. She doesn't have to be so tense, or she doesn't have to win.
"Rock-paper-scissors!"
I knew the result without looking. The clerk had rock, and Lisha had paper. Yeah, there's no way a regular university student can beat Saint's real luck.
"Congratulations!"
The clerk praised her enthusiastically and gave her two choco bananas with excessive toppings that had nothing to do with rock-paper-scissors.
"Thank you. Here, Yuusuke-san, please have one too!"
"Uh, thanks..."
I seriously can't finish all of this, but when I saw Lisha's joyful smile, I couldn't complain. I received the chocolate banana while the clerk gave me looks like, "Who is this guy?" Anyway, no matter which booth we go to, we end up getting twice the portion because of the excessive service... I can definitely survive on this even without money.
As I stared at the round eyes of the koala, I heard voices coming from the back of the shop.
"It's the fairy, the real one."
"For real? I want to see too. Can you cover for me at the counter?"
"The fairy's here? Wow, isn't she cute?"
The fairy.
That's the rumor circulating around our university lately. They say there's a stunningly beautiful blonde girl. Happiness comes to those who see her. In fact, there are two fairies.
It's undoubtedly about Lisha and Kanami.
Well, it's no wonder it's become a rumor. In fact, there are fewer people who approach them, after all, there are many common sense people here. Occasionally, some overly excited guys approach them or people doing video streaming come by, but most of the time, they run away when they see Souji. I guess it can't be helped since I exude kindness from head to toe.
"Come on, let's go."
