Volume 6 Chapter 4 Starting The Share House
Kagami-san led us to a place that was one station away from the Anti-Demon Special Forces Seijo Branch.
The distance between houses here is so wide that it's hard to believe such a place exists in Tokyo.
It's definitely not a prosperous place.
"I've never even heard of the name of this station, so I didn't know a place like this existed."

The inside of the house is spacious, with a layout that allows access to each room from the living room.
"Lisha-chan and Kanami-san are in the same room. The other rooms are for Yuusuke-kun, Tsukiko, and Sharla-san. Since the rooms are connected by doors, you can come and go without passing through the living room. Also, the bathroom and toilet are here. There are two toilets, so you can use them wisely."
Kagami-san quickly explains the rooms.
It's convenient for Lisha and the others to move between rooms to protect them.
"But it's impressive that you could prepare this many rooms even though Sharla's arrival was sudden."

Kagami-san answers calmly. It's kind of, well, I feel like I'm scolded for bringing home a stray dog or something.
"I'm fine with sharing a room with Yuusuke."

Kagami-san coughs and continues explaining.
"This house itself is strongly protected by both science and magic, so I think you can buy some time even if you get attacked. What's more, this house is amazing..."
While saying that, Kagami-san stops in front of a certain door.
When it's opened, a staircase appears that leads down instead of a room. What is this? It looks like something from a horror movie.
Kanami looks under the stairs.
"Is this the basement?"
"Exactly! We prepared a training area for magicians down here! We used all the connections we have to create this room, so it's on par with the Seijo Branch's!"
"No way, that's a lie."
Tsukiko is genuinely surprised, so it must be something incredible.
"I'm serious. In fact, we went over budget because of creating this."

It must have cost a lot. It's definitely beyond the level of money I estimated for the move. But imagining it gives me chills, so I'll refrain from asking.
