Volume 13 Chapter 6 The Important Thing To Have Is Friends
Now, let's figure out how to find Victor-san――
"The key to finding people is gathering information. I'm good at that kind of stuff."
"Whoa, that surprised me!?"
I wonder how long Mirabell has been here...
She's always popping up out of nowhere.
I hope she's not doing it on purpose to startle me...
"'This time it's not a 'fight'...' - you were trying to act all cool and deep from the start like a chuuni."
"Isn't it from the beginning?"
But seriously, what's 'Chuuni'?
"There was a saying like that in my hometown. The hometown hero, Chuuni, started showing off and using deep-sounding words when he was about fourteen."
"Chuuni... huh?"
"Rain, you were really acting Chuuni."
"...You're not saying that as a compliment, are you?"
"Don't worry. I'm just making fun of it."
Mirabell calmly announced, but I had no idea what she meant.
――And then, it happened.
"Hey, Rain, it smells fishy."
"If that's the case, then I'll join you, Rain-san."
Appearing before us were a middle-aged magician and a young swordsman.
They were Bernard-san and Rath.
"Both of you..."
And then, another adventurer arrived.
"Well, I guess I'll help too!"
"And you are... umm..."
"Haven't we met before? Well, I recently joined the guild, so maybe not."
She laughed.
She seemed to be two or three years older than me.
Her long green hair and the black hat that resembled a witch suited her well.
She gave off a cheerful big sister vibe.
Judging by her appearance, she must be a magician.
"My name is Rosa. Nice to meet you!"
She introduced herself.
"I'm coming along too."
"Huh, but..."
I was puzzled by the three of them.
"This isn't an adventurer's quest. It's my personal business."
"So, don't be so dismissive."
"Our guild is thriving thanks to Rain-san's efforts."
"That's why we need to give back to Rain too. Meow!"
The three of them laughed cheerfully.
"Everyone..."
My heart felt a jolt.
"Thank you――"
