"He's... so strong!"
Lily exclaimed.
Metram, in his demon form, kept Lily and her friends at bay with his tremendous attack power and charging force.
They couldn't get close at all.
Whenever they tried to shorten the distance, he activated his [Charge] skill, utilizing his massive horns, easily knocking them away.
They managed to offset some of his power with attacks from the legendary sword, but without that, they'd surely be torn apart.
Then,
"...Senpai, can I tell you something?"
Margaret whispered from behind.
"...What is it?"
"I'll create an opening for you. Aim for that."
"An opening?"
"Make sure to dodge the next attack from that guy――we should be okay if you do."
Margaret probably has a plan.
"Got it. I trust you."
"Hehe, leave it to me, Lily-senpai."
"Both of you, get ready! The next attack is coming――"
Martina warned.
And just as she said, Metram charged in.
He must be using a skill like [Charge], moving fast with a heavy tackle.
If they took it head-on, a human body would turn into pieces in one blow.
Lily and Martina have been trying to block his charge with their swords since earlier, but even a slight mistiming could mean the end.
They've been repeating this back-and-forth struggle like walking on a tightrope several times already.
And then,
"[Acceleration]!"
Margaret activated magic.
But it's not aimed at Lily or Martina.
"Huh...!?"
Metram's [Charge] became even faster, thanks to Martina's [Acceleration].
"What...!?"
Even Metram seems surprised this time.
Lily and Martina quickly dodge to the side to avoid the enemy's charge.
Maybe because he was going too fast, Metram's movements became predictable and linear.
No matter how fast he is, it's easy to predict this.
Second time, third time, fourth time—.
Lily continues to dodge Metram's charges.
"[Acceleration]!"
Margaret casts [Acceleration] on Metram again.
"What!?"
She casts it again and again...
Metram's movements become incredibly fast, and then――.
"S-shit—"
Metram stumbles, creating a significant opening.
"Haha, did you underestimate me...?"
Margaret smirks.
"Y-you...!"
"I don't have swords like Lily-senpai or Martina, and I'm not as strong... but this much is nothing."
"You bastarddd!"
"Metram!"
Lily never let slip the opportunity Margaret had created for her.
It was a priceless opening, crafted by her reliable junior.
(...But it's not enough.)
Lily understood that this opening alone wouldn't be enough to deal a fatal blow to the high-ranking demon, Metram.
Another move was needed.
