After Monet's sudden question, I nodded back earnestly.
"Yes, yes, that 'role' is quite significant. It's impressive that Monet remembers it well."
When I praised her, Monet smiled happily.
Then Anette immediately raised her hand as if to compete.
"Yes, yes, I remember too! Each job class has its own 'role,' and if you fight according to that role, you can earn plenty of divine growth points."
"That's right. People with 'warrior-type' job classes fight with swords or spears, while those with 'magician-type' job classes fight using magic for faster growth."
Job classes are essentially the way of life determined by the gods.
If you fight monsters according to the way the gods dictate, you're highly rated by them and can earn more divine growth points.
And for job classes where fighting is not the main purpose, you can earn a lot more divine growth points by doing tasks that align with your role rather than fighting monsters.
Just like Ms. Nemophila, who will become the next queen of Compost Kingdom as a [Princess Knight].
Her job class has the 'role' of protecting people from monsters, and her inclination to gain divine growth points was extremely unique.
Instead of earning divine growth points by fighting monsters, she had a special growth method that allowed her to earn points by taking hits from monsters instead.
Recently, I've come to realize that I likely belong to that 'side' as well.
"In my case, since I have a job class that helps people grow, when I assist in battles with support magic, it feels less like I've contributed to the fight and more like I've fulfilled my role. That's why I think the divine growth point gained from monster subjugation itself is low, and the part I couldn't gain gets distributed to others."
The amount of divine growth points obtained from defeating Flare Bambi is 2000.
Out of this, approximately 900 points are distributed to Anette and Monet, and the remaining 200 are absorbed by my body.
Additionally, I receive divine growth points from the gods corresponding to my role.
So when it comes to the divine growth points from defeating Flare Bambi, most of them should be absorbed by Anette and Monet.
"I'm a Kick Fighter, so if I defeat monsters using kicking techniques, I'll earn more divine growth points..."
"I'm a Ritual Magician, so it's fine to defeat monsters with magic, right?"
"Yes, exactly. You both need to keep that in mind during monster subjugation. How well you understand your roles really affects how much divine growth points you can earn."
When I explained effective training methods again, the two of them nodded obediently.
Teaching knowledge like this is also a significant part of my job as a Nurturer.
As I admired the sight of the young sprouts growing strong, I left the forest with Anette and Monet and returned to the town of Hyamars.
After discussing plans for the next time near the gate, I parted ways with them and headed straight home.
Then, on the way, a tall young man with a familiar face was walking toward me.
"Hey Roezé. It's been a while."

Shining golden hair and clear, beautiful blue eyes.
The one who called out to me while swaying the hem of his black long coat, drawing oddly curious gazes from the women around, was Suisen Pride, whom I had previously assisted as a Nurturer.
I hadn't seen him in a while, so I thought he had moved to another town.
"So you were still in Hyamars? I hadn't seen you around town at all."
"Yeah, I've been taking on requests as an adventurer lately. Thanks to you awakening my job class, I've been able to make decent progress as an adventurer."
Suisen was originally a rare being, born without a job class.
But after various circumstances, he was able to awaken the [Charmer] job class safely, finally allowing him to stand at the starting line as an adventurer.
I've heard that the power of a Charmer is quite incredible, so it's no wonder he's been able to make a quick impact as an adventurer.
As I listened to Suisen's recent activities, we naturally moved to the edge of the street without signaling each other.
Once we reached a spot where we wouldn't obstruct foot traffic, we resumed our conversation after a long time.
"I heard you've been quite successful lately."
"Huh? What are you talking about?"
"I'm talking about the Forest King's Army and the Spirit King's Army."
"Ah..."
It seems that news has reached Suisen's ears as well.
"I never thought that you were fighting a deadly battle with the Demon Lord army without my knowledge. It seems that it was a crisis not only for the Compost Kingdom, but for the entire Central Continent. It was a great achievement to thwart that plan, Roezé."
"Well, it wasn't so much that I did anything, but rather that the other guys worked hard. In fact, Rose even got the title of the Eastern Hero."
"But she's one of the novice adventurers who became strong thanks to your power, right? Then you can be proud of yourself, right?"
"...I wonder"
Suisen nods as if he cares for me.
I became strong through my own power.
So I can hold my head high.
It's really difficult to honestly feel that way, but somehow I felt deeply helped by those words.
"By the way, how's that thing over there?"
"That thing over there? That's a pretty abstract way to put it. Not very like you, Roezé."
"Well, I wasn't sure if it was okay to ask so bluntly, so I kind of hesitated..."
For some reason, I felt more embarrassed and asked Suisen again.
"Are you getting along well with Ms. Alium since then?"
"I figured that's what you were asking. There's no need to worry; it's going surprisingly smoothly."
"Oh, that's good to hear."
Well, I thought that with Suisen and Ms. Alium, it wouldn't easily fall apart.
"Since Ms. Alium is quite busy, I thought it would be hard for her to make time for me, but she's exceeded my expectations. She's someone who makes sure to secure time for her personal life, and since that day, we've been going out to eat almost every day and I've been visiting her house."
"R-Really...?"
Suisen speaks quite openly about it.
On the other hand, I have no romantic experience, so I wasn't sure how I should react.
So he has already been to her house.
But it seems better not to dig any deeper than this.
Well, from what I've heard, it really seems to be going well, so it was worth pushing him to confess.
"Love is a good thing. I am able to have these happy days, all thanks to you making me stronger. Once again, thank you so much, Roezé"
"I was just doing what I was supposed to do as a Nurturer."
After Suisen thanked me once again, I felt a little embarrassed and shrugged my shoulders.
I'm glad to be able to witness the growth of novice adventurers who were struggling like this, and to receive their gratitude, so that's why I'm continuing to be a Nurturer.
It was a good place to stop, so we ended our conversation there and then, promising to go out for dinner again sometime, before parting ways.
Afterwards, as I was walking home, I felt a deep emotion.
As I walk through this starting town, I often pass by novice adventurers.
Many of them are familiar faces I helped out before as a Nurturer, and they look noticeably more lively than before.
Just like Suisen I talked about earlier.
Being able to witness the growth of novice adventurers is one of the rewarding aspects, but it's also nice to see my connections broaden and more acquaintances grow.
I feel like I'm getting more and more accustomed to this town.
I can learn to love this town even more.
While thinking about such things, I arrived near my home and saw someone standing in front of the entrance.
"Could it be a visitor...?"
From a distance, it looked like a person I didn't recognize.
They had pure white hair that stretched down to their shoulders.
Their skin was fair and translucent.
Wrapping their feminine silhouette was a similarly pure white robe.
Overall, the impression this person gave off was one of "whiteness," and noticing my arrival, they turned to me with sparkling azure eyes.
I hurriedly ran over to them.
"I'm sorry! I was out for a bit!"
Thinking they were a guest I had kept waiting, I apologized right off the bat.
It seems that I was right, as the woman gave me a gentle smile with a kind expression.
"Nice to meet you, I am Ran. My name is Ran Lavie. I came to visit after receiving a request from Mr. Nurturer."
