Volume 1 Chapter 46, Part 2 Mean Villainess, Excited for Treasure Hunting
"I'm so excited about the treasure hunt!"
Rudger was the one getting really excited about the treasure hunt.
I know.
Inside the treasures prepared today, there is a free ticket for a year's worth of yakisoba bread.
"Mr. Rudger, can you calm down a bit?"
"Well, it's great to see my team so motivated."
Ms. Parsley was trying to calm Rudger, while Leve still had a wry smile on his face.
This treasure hunt is a team event, and 4 of us, including these 3 and me, make one team.
We are allowed to use magic in the ruins, and it seems today's goal is to use our magic to find the treasure.
"Ms. Parsley and I are aiming for the special dessert tickets at the cafeteria, but Rudger is still going for the yakisoba bread?"
"That's right! And also, this temple was used about a thousand years ago."
"Really?"

I mumbled "a hard-to-find place" and my feet led me to a small door beside the hall.
"Let's go check that way."
"That way? Oh, I didn't see that door."
Maybe because the door was small, everyone seemed to not notice it.
When Rudger opened the door, there were stairs going down.
"Stairs? But we're on the first floor?"
Ms. Parsley tilted her head.
"Maybe it's underground. It seems dark, so I'll bring out some light."
Leve said that and made a ball of light appear in her palm.
It looks like she learned that useful magic in Defense Magic class.
"How do you use Defense Magic with a ball of light?"
"Blinding is also part of Defense Magic"
Seriously?
When I reached the bottom of the stairs, there was a large space.
It's cool and damp because it's underground.
"It smells a bit moldy"
The voice I muttered echoed slightly.
"It's bigger than I thought. I'd like a bigger light."

"Really!?"
What Leve had was a capsule that had a treasure inside.
Since we couldn't see inside, we decided to check it when we got to the top of the stairs.
"It might be a yakisoba bun! Let's hurry up!"
Rudger ran up the stairs really fast.
"...Well, let's leave Rudger for now. We need to put out the fire on the wall."
I put out the fire one by one with Leve.
In the middle of this, I felt like something shined right under the fire.
"Hey Leve, can you shine some light over here?"
"Sure. Did something fall?"
"I think so... Oh, oh! This is a jewel!"
What I picked up was a round jewel about 5 centimeters wide.
It was amazing that it was really there, and it looked like an iolite from the color.
"Are you taking it home?"
"Yes, I use it for divination with stones!"
"I see, that's good for you"
While I was talking to Leve, I went up the stairs and found Rudger, who looked a little disappointed, and Ms. Parsley, who was smiling.
"Lady Elena! It was a limited dessert ticket for the cafeteria! "
It was the announcement of my great victory.
"Not yet! I'm going to hunt for yakisoba bread too! "
As I follow the frustrated Rudger, I look back at the small door.
I thought I'd seen them somewhere before, but when Leve pulled me by the hand in the basement, it reminded me.

I wish I could remember more of the words that rumbling voice said.
That must have had some meaning.
"Elena? I'm leaving you here!"
"Hey Mr. Rudger!"
"Yes, I'm on my way!"
I tightly held the iolite I picked up a little while ago and jogged to catch up with everyone.
