"Are you alright, Ojou-san?"
"Huh? Huh? O- Omega...-sama?"
"Yes. It's Omega."

"I?"
"IT'S THE REAL DEALLLLL!!!"
"IT'S REALLY HIMMMM!!!"
She latched onto my arm like a barnacle on a shipwreck and shook it like she was trying to summon a genie. Just moments ago, she looked ready to die. Now, she had the enthusiasm of a fan meeting their idol for the first time.
Well, when in Rome...
"WHOOOOO!!! YEAH, IT'S MEEEE!!!"
We jumped around like idiots for a solid ten seconds.
And then—
"KYAAAAAA!!!!"
Valkyrie's Kotono-san let out a scream.
"H-her arm...!"
"Huh?"
I turned to see a girl (?) lying on the ground—her left arm missing from the elbow down.
"...!"
Crap, right, there was an actual problem here.
I sprinted over, pulling out a glowing green vial from Storage. Without hesitation, I brought it to her lips.
"Drink this," I said, in my best "mysterious hero" voice.
Weakly, she nodded and swallowed.
And then—
Fwoooosh...!
Her body glowed.
And then—
Zzzzt... Zzzzzzzt...
"""""...Huh?"""""
Her severed arm started growing back—like a video playing in reverse.
"M-my arm..."
"It's back..."
"Huh? Huh? W-what just happened...?"
Everyone froze.
I sighed, trying to sound casual. "It's an 'Elixir'—a potion that heals everything except death."
"""""A-A-AN ELIXIIIR?!"""""
The air vibrated with their synchronized disbelief.
I took a step back. "Uhh... so you guys know about Elixirs?"
"""""OF COURSE WE DO!!!"""""
The way they all yelled in unison was almost more shocking than the arm regrowing.
"But... I thought Elixirs were just a myth..." someone muttered.
"Even an S-class like me... I've never seen an Elixir before..." Another gulped.
Oh.
Oh no.
I had just used something ridiculously rare, hadn't I?
I started sweating. Maybe I shouldn't have casually pulled that out like a pack of gum.
But hey, what’s done is done.
"Ugh... uuh..."
"""""...Ah, she's waking up!"""""
The girl opened her eyes groggily.
"H-huh...? Where... am I...?"
""RINNEEE!!!""
Two people (presumably her friends) threw themselves at her.
"T-Tomochi! And... Onee-chan?!"
Despite just cheating death, she was now busy fighting off a double sibling death-grapple.
"Get off me! You're squishing me!"
Well, at least she was alive.

After things settled down, they turned to me.
""""O-Omega-sama! Everyone! Thank you so much for saving us!!!!"""""
"No, no, really... don't worry about it. It was nothing..." I waved them off.
But—
"N-no no no...! It WAS something, Omega-sama!"
"Huh?"
Nagisa from Valkyrie stepped forward, looking distressed.
And then—
"Y-yes! I heard it from both of you! My arm, which should have been gone, has returned to normal because of Omega-sama's 'Ultra-Godly One-Time-Use Status Abnormality Recovery Potion of Miracles'... But now I feel horribly guilty because I let such an incredibly rare elixir be used on me... W-what should I do... uuuu..."
And with that, Rinne started crying.
"W-wahh!? P-please don't cry!!!"
I panicked.
Beautiful girls crying is my biggest weakness.
"But... sniff... it was an Elixir! The urban legend elixir!! The potion that's rarer than a decent landlord!!! And you used it on me!"
"I-it's fine, really! No big deal!"
"No, it's not fine!" She was full-on sobbing now. "If I had just gone to the guild hospital, they could've reattached it anyway!!!"
"H-huh!?"
"Yes! I had a full hour! There wouldn't even be aftereffects! Uwaaaaaah!!!!"

...
...
I have made a terrible mistake.
Now I wanted to cry.
