While we were planning, Emerada slowly sat up.
Her big body and 4 arms looked down at us with golden eyes. There was no emotion left in them.
"Alright, let's go with the plan."

At Captain Joseph's signal, we took our positions.
Minori and the close-range fighters moved in front of Emerada, keeping enough distance, while the long-range team lined up behind them.
Suzu and I stayed at the back.

If her legs freeze, she can't move.
"First step succeeded! Good thing Lene made those potions!"
"Yep, they're frozen solid."
While I talked to Suzu, I used the Magic Stone of Elmusca to add Sharpness to the ammunition for my Alchemy Long Rifle.
I aimed for the Magic Core.
"Big Bro Ryuuji, the fiend's tentacle is going for the captain!"

I complained about my frustration, but Suzu gave me good news.
So, that means we can attack soon.

"Suzu, let me know when the lightning power is gone. I'll aim to attack then."

The long rifle ammo is limited too.
We should take the best chance.

Hearing Suzu say "It's okay now," I took a big breath to shout as loud as I could.

I hoped to take her down with this one shot.

Emerada showed no sign of damage and didn't even flinch.
