Finally, the building for My Adventurers Guild [Gem of Heavenly Gift] has been completed in the Royal Capital.

Members of the Merchant Guild and the delinquents look up at the building with smiles.
"This is... quite an impressive structure."
Rozelia, the S-Rank Adventurer, murmurs in admiration.
"Yeah! Mr. Act has helped us a lot! I, Torio, gathered the best skills of dwarves to build this Guild hall!"
Torio, the leader of the Merchant Guild, seems excited.
"We... even as delinquents... can create something this amazing..."
Donovan, the leader of the delinquents, looks up at the Guild hall with tears in his eyes.
"Uu...," the other delinquents are also crying for some reason.
"Why are you all crying?"
"Because... we've been called trash and useless delinquents... but we can make something this great... we can help others... we finally understand..."
Sniffle, Donovan wipes his nose.
"I hate to interrupt your emotional moment, but I have something to discuss with you."

I take Rozelia and enter the Guild hall of Gem of Heavenly Gift.
"The inside is impressive too. It truly suits the best Adventurers Guild in the Royal Capital."
Rozelia's eyes sparkle at the luxurious interior.
"I'm not number one yet."
"Oh? Is that so?"
In the Adventurers Guild ranking, the first place is Blood Glory.
We are in second place.

"No need for flattery."
I lead the smiling Rozelia up to the second floor.
"By the way... Guildmaster, what will you do next?"
"It's simple. I will just expel those who are no longer needed."
Rozelia's eyes widen in surprise.

"I just thought... you are really a kind person, Guildmaster."
"How am I kind? I'm just cutting off useless people."
"You say that... but you have a proper place for them to go, right?"
Rozelia says something strange.

I enter the Guildmaster's Room.
It was even more impressive than the old Guild.
"Guildmaster, as I said before, what you are doing is not expulsion, but just finding new jobs for them."

Rozelia quietly smiles and replies.
"I just thought you are really not honest with yourself."

Rozelia bows respectfully and leaves the room.
Soon, she brings the leader, Donovan, into the room.
"What's up, Guildmaster?"
He seems to not understand why he was called here.
I stand in front of him at the desk and say:
"Donovan, you've worked hard until today. YOU'RE FIRED AS OF TODAY."
"Wha...!? F-FIRED!?"
The Guild Members have stopped being surprised lately, so this reaction from him feels fresh.
"W-WHY!?"
"The Guild hall is finished, and you useless ones are no longer needed."
Donovan's eyes fill with tears as he raises his voice.
"NO WAY... So you're just like all the other adults! Once we're not needed, you throw us away... THAT'S TERRIBLE!"
"Hmph. No matter how much you complain, this is a done deal."
"But... I finally found what I want to do..."
I say to Donovan, who is slumping his shoulders.
"Yeah. So go and do what you want at your next job."
".........Huh?"
I give a nod to Rozelia.
She hands Donovan the clipboard she was holding.
"W-What is this...?"
"It's the paperwork for your next job. Take a look."
Donovan looks stunned.
"Next job... what do you mean?"
"Torio from the Merchant Guild is looking for a successor. Go there and show off your talent."
"W-Wait, Torio's... successor? I can join the Merchant Guild!? The Merchant Guild in the Royal Capital is the best in the world!"
"Yeah. You have strength and your subordinates trust you. You're surprisingly serious and good with your hands. You'll make a great carpenter."
I say to Donovan, who is still in shock.
"What's wrong? Are you unhappy?"
"Ah... no, not at all. I have no complaints, but... why...?"
It seems Donovan can't accept the banishment.
"It's better for your future to gain solid experience under Torio than to keep you as just a part-timer. That's my decision."

"There are a few others with talent who could work at the Merchant Guild. Take those delinquents with you too."
I hand the list of outcasts to Donovan.
"YES-SSU! Thank you very much! Guildmaster!"
Donovan bends at a right angle and lowers his head.
"I will never forget this kindness! One day, I will repay you a hundred times!"
"I see. I look forward to it."
Donovan raises his head.
He nods with a bright expression.
"YES-SSU!"
