Volume 7 Chapter 11-2 Worried That No One Has Forgotten Him
Catherine and Cecilia exchanged glances and sighed, causing everyone to look at Randy and the other 2 with a feeling of inevitability.
In fact, Luke, Cecilia, and even everyone here could strangely agree with what Catherine was saying.
──It was typical of Randy and the others.
That's why they felt there was no point in saying anything more.
"Luke, shall we just watch?"
"Yes."
The only 2 who could likely move the 3 smiled and shrugged, deciding not to interfere with them anymore. Despite everyone's concerns, the 3 had completely entered prototype mode, still in front of their blueprints.
"Here, if we──"
"But if we do that──"
"For the magic circuit, it's──"
It was completely their world.
And this world of the 3 was extremely troublesome. After all, it looked like they were having so much fun. If you were exposed to that atmosphere up close, what would happen...?
"I mean, doesn't this make the cost higher?"
"Yes, it does. It would be better if we made it thinner──"
Luke, who had probably intended to voice his concerns, was the first to join the prototype circle, accompanied by Cecilia.
At this point, the flow couldn't be stopped.
"Hehehe. It's my turn, the brains of the group."
"Do you need the Saintly Lady's absurd ideas?"
By the time Catherine and Leon joined, Julius also said, "This looks interesting," and joined in. As for Livia... she had been watching the 3's conversation with sparkling eyes, even though she didn't understand the content from the start.
As the discussion began with 2 seats pushed together, more and more eyes gathered around them, and Wayne, who had arrived late, joined in.
"What's going on? Is this a strategy meeting for the election?"
Wayne grinned as he joined the circle, but when he saw the heated discussion about the copier prototype, he showed an expression of disbelief.
"What's this? Well, a strategy meeting, I guess?"
Randy tilted his head, but it was clear this wasn't a strategy meeting for the election.
"Ah... Are you planning to make something again?"
Wayne, showing a smile mixed with disbelief, sat down and glanced at the blueprints. He did not understand them at all, but there was one thing he knew. He had seen this kind of blueprint before.
"I guess it's like a magic tool research club or something."
Everyone's eyes gathered on Wayne as he awkwardly poured water into his glass.
"W-what is it?"
Wayne, looking around at everyone, gripped the glass tightly and his face twitched. Everyone's gaze had gathered on him all at once.
"Magic tool research club... oh right, there was such a place."
Randy muttered, remembering that fake old hag. According to Annabelle's story, the Occult Research Club had worked with the magic tool research club to create it.
"Come to think of it, they were also the ones who helped with materializing ghosts, weren't they?"
Cecilia, also recalling, muttered, and Liz nodded. To be precise, Cory and Annabelle had worked together on it, and the magic tool research club had mostly assisted, but they had cooperated nonetheless.
"Since we're in a hurry, it might be good to go get their opinion."
As Randy grabbed the blueprints, the food he had ordered arrived.
"Perfect timing. You can't fight on an empty stomach, right?"
Randy smiled in front of the food, but everyone, seeing his smile and hearing his words, once again smiled wryly, realizing his focus was not on an election, but on a battle.
* * *
When Randy and the others decided to visit the magic tool research club and scattered to their afternoon plans, a man stood in the front yard just after passing through the academy's main gate.
The man, with beautiful blonde hair blowing in the wind, glared at the sign in the quiet front yard──
"Dario, Randolph... I won't lose to you."
It was Edgar, the former Crown Prince, who had been resting until today. Finally returning to the academy, Edgar glared at the sign for a moment before disappearing into the school building with a face full of fury.
One week until the student council president election. With the appearance of this man, the atmosphere at the academy suddenly became tense. Meanwhile, Randy...
"What's this? Delicious Potion Research Club? Survival Beast Food Study Group? ...Hey, what's this? Mock Monarchy Club? Let's check it out."
"No, we can't."
He was excited by the intriguing and mysterious clubs.
※Below is additional information about the mysterious clubs.
Delicious Potion Research Club
A highly competent research club that studies how to make potions, known for being generally unpleasant, taste good, and how to do so without reducing their effects.
Survival Beast Food Study Group
As the name suggests, this group researches how to make beast meat taste good with limited tools and seasonings, assuming a survival situation. It has many achievements, such as beast combination recipes.
Mock Monarchy Club
Every month, roles like "King," "Subject," and "Citizen" are drawn by lottery to run the politics of an "imaginary country." The assigned roles are valid outside the club (only within the school), so the "King" can command "Subjects," and "Subjects" can manage "Citizens." However, if too much tyranny is imposed, "Citizens" can become "Rebels" and start a rebellion. The key is to operate without causing citizens to rebel.
By the way, if a rebellion occurs and the King is overthrown, there is a change of government, but so far, a rebellion has occurred every time, and the King has been overthrown. Well, that's fair. Still, everyone wants to be the King.
