Volume 7 Chapter 19 Come To Think Of It, More Than Half Of My Friends Are Excellent Students
"Whether you can hang out depends on what you're doing."
Luke raised an eyebrow, and everyone except Liz and Ellie nodded in agreement. Especially for Cecilia and Luke, it was impossible not to be on guard. They had the experience of being involved in a ridiculous situation together.
The pseudo-dragon breath incident.
Remembering that time when he was swept up without understanding much, Luke raised his eyebrow again and said, "Just tell us the content quickly." Randy and Liz smiled and said, "Let's do it," then took off into the sky.
"It's nothing much. I just finished the prototype of yesterday's design. We need someone to collect data before the test drive..."
Upon hearing the word "prototype," Luke and Cecilia's faces turned pale for a moment. Though it was called data collection, the reason was that they had done something ridiculous by saying "to the limit" that time.
"B-by the way, that design from yesterday—it doesn't catch fire or anything, right?"
Randy raised an eyebrow at the timid Luke and explained that he was making something like a copy machine.
"Ah, it was a copy machine after all. Color copying—are you going to revolutionize letterpress printing?"
Randy shook his head when Catherine tilted hers, explaining it was closer to photo enlargement than copying at this point.
"What are you going to do by enlarging photos?"
When Catherine raised an eyebrow, Randy looked back at Liz and Ellie.
"Since we're at it, let's hear their opinions too."
"Right."
"Indeed."
With the two nodding, Randy took out a sketchbook from his magic bag and handed it to Catherine.
"What's this? *Petit Renacent Summer Collection*?"
Catherine tilted her head and opened the sketchbook. Inside were various photos featuring Harrison and Rita as models. Unlike the ones with Liz and Ellie, these showcased products from the reasonable line.
However, since they were designed by Clarice and Madame, they were still first-class in both creation and appearance.
"Heh. It's cute. Your little sister is something else, isn't she?"
As expected from someone accustomed to it in her previous life, Catherine's reaction was more composed compared to ordinary humans. Still, judging by her smile as she relaxed her cheeks, the completion level as a lookbook was not low.
Catherine, smiling, turned the pages of her sketchbook and tilted it toward Cecilia so she could see the contents, saying, "See?"
"It's wonderful."
"Wow! That's amazing!"
Unlike Catherine, Cecilia and Luke, who were raising voices of admiration, drew attention even from Julius, Leon, and Wayne, who looked over from behind Catherine, peering into the sketchbook.
"So, it's a lookbook? That means you'll enlarge and copy the photos and print copies, huh?"
True to her background as a former high schooler, Catherine immediately saw how to use both the sketchbook and the copier.
"That's right."
Randy, satisfied, nodded and opened his mouth to say, "And to make this..." but noticed a certain presence and looked up. Suddenly raising his face, everyone turned their heads as well, toward the scene where Cory and Annabelle had arrived at the courtyard.
Almost simultaneously with Cory and Annabelle noticing Randy, Randy waved his hand happily with a smile.
The two who had been running over after exchanging glances and smiling at Randy were now smiling back.
"Senior, you're running for president!"
"I've seen your platform! I think it's very typical of you! I support you!"
The sparkling, radiant eyes of the two made Randy squint, feeling very pleased by the straightforward expectations and affection directed at him.
(As expected of our conscience)
Thinking so, Randy looked back at Luke, remembering the fool who had teased him from the very beginning.
"Fool Luke. Step aside. I'll sit Cory and Lady Annabelle down, so you stand there."
"I'll punch you. Stand up, you little..."
Liz and others stopped the seemingly about-to-start pointless fight, and Randy, with a smile, looked back at Cory and the others.
"Both of you, are you free from this afternoon?"
In response to Randy's question, the two exchanged glances and slowly nodded, saying, "Yes."
"Alright, alright. The thing is about the item... how about you guys go to the Magic Tool Research Club together as well?"
At Randy's suggestion, Cory and Annabelle nodded immediately. Apparently, they were already planning to visit the Magic Tool Research Club soon for the maintenance of that certain "Oven-something," so for them, it was just a convenient addition to their schedule.
"Alright! As expected of Cory and Annabelle. As a token of my appreciation, I'll even arrange modeling gigs for you two."
"Modeling?"
As Cory tilted his head in confusion, Randy pointed to the sketchbook Catherine was holding, saying, "Take a look." With puzzled expressions, Cory and Annabelle approached, and Catherine handed them the sketchbook, saying, "It's stuff like this."
At first, the two smiled at the photos of Harrison and Rita inside, saying, "How lovely," but the moment they heard that models were people who were photographed like this, they both perked up as if bouncing.
"Us? Really?"
"I-Isn't that... embarrassing?"
As the two blushed, Randy shook his head, saying, "It's not mandatory."
"If you're interested, just let me know. Worst case, you can just take the photos and the clothes you wore home with you."
At this surprisingly generous offer, the girls couldn't help but look up. Even if they were ready-to-wear, these were clothes designed by Madame Valmoir, and photos of them wearing those clothes... and depending on the scene—
The girls simultaneously turned their gaze to the sketchbook. Inside was a photo of Harrison and Rita, smiling at each other in matching outfits. It wasn't hard to imagine what they were thinking.
