The next morning.
Lili came to me all alone.
"Master... Lili, Lili will... cook in the palace now!"
Hmm.
She finally found her courage, huh.
Good job, Lili.
I stand up and step closer to her.
"Uh, well, since the kitchen staff's one person short, I... I don't wanna cause trouble for you, Master..."
I put my hand on Lili's head.
And I say the same words I've said to all the others.
"Don't worry about what's left behind. You're leaving, after all."
Lili looks up at me.
She smiles, then bows her head again over and over, and leaves the Room.
Phew... good grief.
It's too quiet now.
Knock knock...
"Come in."
Without asking who it is, only one person would walk in at a time.
Frederica steps into the Room with a bright smile.
"Thanks for your hard work."
"No, it's my wife's duty."
Frederica giggles happily.
She gets all happy whenever she does something for me.
Kind of a weird one.
I probably couldn't handle her myself.
