Volume 7 Chapter 38 Bonus

This story takes place shortly after the entrance ceremony—before Randy decided to run for student council president.

As usual, Randy and his friends were gathered on the terrace.

"By the way, Betty, Elirin... aren't those bracelets a bit unusual? What's the story behind them?" Livia asked, tilting her head curiously.

She pointed at the distinctive black and silver bracelets on their arms. The designs were unique—adorned with protruding magic stones—certainly enough to call them "strange-looking," just as she said.

"Oh, these?" Liz replied, gently touching the black bracelet on her left wrist. She glanced at Randy, who was chatting with the boys at the next table.

 "They're important gifts."

With a soft smile, she looked at Ellie. "Right?"

Ellie turned away slightly, her cheeks faintly pink.

"I wore it all the time when I was inside you... It feels weird not having it on."

She spoke quietly, almost to herself, as she rubbed the silver bracelet on her right wrist.

Cecilia, seated nearby, clapped her hands as if remembering something.

"Ah right, you wore it too. At first, I thought it was just a bracelet in Sir Randolph and Liza's colors."

Peering closely, Cecilia compared the two bracelets.

"But now, they look a little different, don't they?"

Liz nodded, touching her bracelet again.

"It used to be one bracelet, but after Ellie got her body back, we split it in two."

"The magic stone split too," she added. "It became one blue and one red—"

"Wait, but you still have a red magic stone on yours," Catherine interrupted, tilting her head.

Indeed, Liz's black bracelet had a red gem embedded in it. Ellie's silver bracelet, on the other hand, held two red stones.

"Ah, that's..." Liz hesitated, trying to hide her wrist. But Cecilia, still watching closely, pointed it out.

"This one's different. That red—it's Sir Randolph's color, isn't it?"

"Ah—" Ellie quickly tried to cover her bracelet, but it was too late. The group leaned in, clearly interested. With slight hesitation, Liz and Ellie finally took off their bracelets and placed them gently on the table.

"Each one has Randy's 'red' in it," Cecilia said.

Liz's bracelet combined Ellie's black and her own blue, while Ellie's had Liz's silver and her own red. Both featured a red magic stone—Randy's symbol.

"I heard it was a gift from Sir Randolph," someone murmured.

As they stared at the bracelets, they noticed how simple the decorations were despite being made by Randy.

"There wasn't much we could do with Craft back then," Liz said quietly, slipping her bracelet back on.

"It's a precious memory for the three of us."

Ellie didn't say anything, but she carefully picked up her bracelet and returned it to her right arm.

"But you added more magic stones, right?" Catherine asked.

"And the colors too," Cecilia added, nodding in agreement.

Liz glanced toward Randy, who was still laughing with the boys, completely unaware of their conversation.

"He's the one who added them—each with our own colors," she said.

"Now they match," Ellie added with a quiet sigh, though she smiled as she gently ran her fingers over her bracelet.

When the two of them decided to wear the bracelets again, Randy had offered to reshape them—make them look more polished.

 But they had refused.

"They're fine the way they are," they had said.

So instead, Randy had suggested adding their individual colors to the design.

That small idea had given birth to the bracelets they wore now. There were no fancy ornaments, just a unique, almost mysterious shape. Even so, they still shone quietly on their wrists. Of course, the two could still be combined into one.

It symbolized the start of their journey—and the path they had walked together ever since.

"That's why... I want to keep moving forward like this," Liz whispered, rubbing her bracelet gently.

 "The three of us, together."

Just then, a voice called over from the next table.

 "What's all the excitement about?"

Randy leaned over with a grin.

"We're having a ladies' conversation, Sir Randolph," Cecilia replied sharply, lifting her chin.

"You really have no sense of timing," Catherine added with a sigh.

"Totally not reading the room, Landor," Livia chimed in.

"Oi, what the heck?" Randy grumbled, puffing out his cheeks as the girls shut him down in unison.

Liz and Ellie exchanged a glance and giggled.

"It's a secret," Liz said playfully.

"That's right," Ellie agreed, folding her arms. "We're not telling you."

Randy gave them a pout, only to get a slap on the back from Luke.

"Idiot," Luke said with a wicked grin.

"Shut up. You stay out of it," Randy snapped, shoving him off with a scowl.

And just like that, the boys started up another lively debate.

Watching them, Liz and the others looked at one another and burst into laughter.

Beneath the warm afternoon sun, the bracelets still gleamed on their wrists—quietly shining with the kindness Randy had poured into them since that day.
