Cain went back to his room with Barvish after leaving Luke's office. He changed into comfortable clothes to relax before dinner.
(Phew~, a Tactical level magician, huh... If I use this [Unlimited Mana] fully, I could kill many people... But maybe I got a bit too excited...)
After Cain changed and sat on the sofa, Barvish suddenly bowed very low and started apologizing.
"Sir Cain, I'm sorry for overstepping earlier."
"Huh? What do you mean, Barvish? I let you speak, so it's fine. You were just trying to help me, right? I didn't realize I looked so bad... Please, lift your head."
Cain told Barvish not to worry about it.
"Even so... I am your slave, Sir Cain..."

Cain felt scared thinking about fighting enemies on the royal capital's frontlines and in battles.

He got off the bed and wrote on a sheepskin parchment he used as a memo.
"And, I need to change many [One-Way] magic circles. Should I block the way from inside the sewer to the outside? For the outside to the inside, only living things except creatures should be stopped."
He also wrote down the current details.
"Oh, this way, dead bodies or non-living things could flow, which is dangerous. It might become like a mafia movie... I should also stop dead creature bodies from flowing."
Cain kept writing down ideas as they came. Before he knew it, he had a long list of things to do.
