Volume 3 Chapter 61 Grandmother's Request VIII

The next day, Cain nervously went to the site and peeked at the construction from far away. He worried the workers making roofs and windows might have lost motivation because of his strange actions.

When Cain finally looked closer, the site was buzzing with loud instructions and replies. As he watched, amazed, the site supervisor spotted him and walked over.

"Ah, Sir Cain! Good morning! Hey, everyone!"

The supervisor greeted Cain loudly and called out to the workers. They noticed Cain and shouted back.

 """Good morning!!!"""

 "Good morning!"

Cain was surprised at first but smiled and waved back.

 "Everyone seems extra motivated today?"

 Cain asked curiously.

"Of course! We saw something amazing yesterday. Everyone's been excited since morning."

The supervisor happily explained the workers' energy.

Cain tried to stay calm. "Is that so?" he said. Then he added, "Be careful not to get hurt," and went to his own work. That day, everyone worked harder than usual.

A few days later, the bathhouse was finished way ahead of schedule—about 3 days early. The workers were super motivated, working 1.5 times faster than normal. Many extra workers had come just to see the magical building.

That afternoon, it was time to install the magic device for the hot water—the bathhouse's main feature. Zain had called two days ago to adjust the schedule, so they finished morning work early.

After lunch, Cain and the others returned to the mansion. Zain was already waiting. Cain changed into formal clothes and went to the guest room. Zain was sitting on the sofa, relaxed.

"Sorry to keep you waiting, Zain. Did you have lunch already?"

 Cain asked as he approached.

"Welcome back, Sir Cain. Don't worry about it. Actually, I'm sorry for coming so early. I already ate lunch."

 Zain smiled brightly.

"Let's head to the site now. The building's ready."

Everyone started walking to the site.

"It's done already? That was fast!"

Cain laughed nervously and led Zain.

Zain looked at the bathhouse, a bit surprised. "This is..." he muttered, then quickly asked, "Where should the magic tool go?"

 "Here, to make hot water."

Cain showed Zain the room behind the bathhouse. He planned to use pipes to send hot water to both men's and women's baths.

Cain drew lines on the ground to mark the spot. Zain took a wooden board from his bag and started explaining. The board showed a 3-meter-wide cylinder with notes all over it.

"This tool uses a fire magic stone and a mana stone—it's totally new."

 Zain explained excitedly.

Basically, inside the cylinder—let's call it a boiler—a fire magic stone heats the water, powered by an external mana stone.

It was like the water-boiling tool Cain bought, but faster with the fire stone. Cain thought, "Like an electric kettle?" as he listened.

"But fire magic stones are rare, right?"

 Barvish asked Zain.

"Normally, yes, but I'll need Sir Cain's help to make one."

"You can make a magic stone?!"

Barvish's eyes widened. Zain winked and said, "Shh."
