Volume 3 Chapter 62 Grandmother's Request IX
He thought about how handsome elves have it easy while listening to the explanation with a wink. Then, Zain took out a stone plate about A3 size from his bag.
"It's easier to understand if you see it, so I'll make a fire attribute magic stone."
Zain placed the stone plate on a nearby workbench and took out three magic stones from his bag, putting them on the plate.
The stone plate had a hexagram magic circle and lots of magic symbols around it. He put one magic stone in the center of the hexagram and the other two in the upper right corner of the plate.
"Sir Cain, sorry to ask, but please place your hands on the circles on the left and right of the magic circle. I'll turn the central magic stone into a fire attribute one, so I'll need about 50,000 MP from you. Is that okay?"
Zain realized he forgot to ask something important and checked with a look.
"Yeah, that's fine. More is okay too?"
"Thanks a lot. Don't remove your hands until the central stone turns crimson."
Zain started chanting. The stone plate glowed faintly, and the magic circle and symbols lit up one by one.
By the time Zain finished, the plate was filled with light. Cain felt his Mana being drawn from both hands. The central stone slowly turned crimson, and when it did, the light disappeared.
"It's done, Sir Cain. The fire attribute magic stone is complete."
"Wow, you make it look so easy. I want this stone plate too!"
Cain said while holding the fire attribute magic stone.
Hearing this, Barvish and the others froze and slowly looked at Cain.
(Huh? Did I say something weird?)
"Huh? What?"
"Pfh, hahaha. Only Sir Cain could say something like that. That's why everyone loves you."
"Oh, thanks? Did I say something strange?"
Cain sounded unsure. Barvish quickly came over and said, "I'll explain later, so stay quiet for now."
Cain looked confused and just said, "Yeah." Then, following Zain's instructions, he made two more fire attribute magic stones.
"Next, can you make a container for hot water? I thought of doing it myself, but you'd do a better job. Can you help?"
Zain asked Cain to craft a boiler, showing him a design diagram.
"Sure, sounds good. Can I make it here? What about the lid?"
"No lid needed—we'll work inside later. Make it about 2.5 meters tall. Oh, and bury about 50 cm from the bottom."
"Got it, but why? Oh, I see! It's for the hot water to flow out."
Zain smiled and said, "Good answer." Cain felt proud and happily built the boiler using Earth magic.
"Is this right? I hardened the inside with [Earth Press]."
"Thanks, it's perfect. I'll coat it with Mithril and add [Seal Magic]. This part's secret, so don't look until I'm done."
Zain explained, grabbed his bag, climbed into the boiler, and started working.
Zain worked inside the boiler and came out after about an hour. There were chanting voices, glowing lights, and cutting sounds.
"Thanks for waiting. It's almost done. Sir Cain, can you make a hole here to drain the hot water?"
"Sure. I'll also make the piping and connect it to the bathtub."
Cain used [Delete] to make a hole in the boiler where Zain pointed and created the piping with [Create Clay].
