Hero's Mother After – Chapter 5: Cerena
"Ceres-kun, don't you think our baby is super cute?" Shizuko asked, her voice filled with excitement.
"Ceres, look, a baby!" Haruka said with a cheerful tone.
"Ceres-san," Sayo said, her voice cool and detached, "look, it's a baby."
"Ceres-chan," Misaki cooed, "it's our baby..."
"It's so cute when you think it's your own child," Marianne said with a thought.
"Definitely," Frey agreed, her voice tinged with pride.
"You're right," Cecilia replied, her tone thoughtful. "It's really cute. I never had children myself."
It's certainly cute, but since there is no experience with pregnancy or childbirth, I'm not as moved. However...even ignoring that, "it's really cute."
"The child will grow up quickly because of divine blood, so be careful," Isthas warned, her voice grave. "Since everyone wanted this baby, please take good care of it."
For some reason, Isthas seems to be speaking in a somewhat formal tone.
Perhaps her way of thinking is different because she's a goddess.
"Is Isthas not participating in raising the child?"
"That child is a child of the gods," Isthas explained, her words measured. "It will grow up even without doing anything...it's different from humans...ordinary humans probably need more help."
Indeed Ishtas is also the goddess of this world... perhaps she's busier than we are.

Serena twirls around and receives a lunchbox from Haruka... yeah, it's so cute.
Right now, Serena looks about six years old and has grown up this far in one day.
Shizuko and I had prepared for diaper changes and milk, but this is it.
According to Isthas, from here on out the child will grow up normally, but since the children of the gods quickly become apprentices of the gods or angels, they will grow up like this soon...
And their intelligence is said to be extremely high, developing into an intelligent and clever child.
Aah...children are amazing...
Even when Nee-san hugs and pats Serena's head... yeah, I can't help but find it so cute.
Children are great.
By the way, Serena is a boy who seems to have all the good looks of everyone. And…perhaps because of the Ishtas' blood, people's eyes turn into heart marks when he smiles.

Anyway, we spread out the sheet and start preparing our bento boxes.
"Hey, why does Dad work?" asked Serena with a curious frown.
"Well, that's because I like working. I enjoy doing this kind of thing."
"Hmm, that's weird. And what about Mom (Haruka)? Why does Mom make bento for us?" questioned Serena, tilting her head to one side.
"Mom (Haruka) makes bento boxes because she loves me and Serena very much. She likes taking care of us..."
"Ahh, I see. Is it different than this?" said Serena as she reached into the space and pulled out a pastry.
With that, Serena stuck his hand into the space and took out a pastry.
In this space, anything can come out if you want it with the power of Ishtas.
Well, it's a space where goddesses and gods spend their time.
"Yes, it is. Serena still may not understand this, but what is important is not the material things themselves, but rather how people make us feel."
"I see... So that's why dad grows watermelons and corn by himself and gives them to everyone. Mom (Haruka) is the same way," concluded Serena with a nod of understanding.
"Yes, that's right. You're very smart, Serena..." praised Haruka with a hint of pride in her voice.
Is this the face of Nee-san's mother side? She's very beautiful... Unfortunately, I can't pull this off...
"What's wrong, Ceres? Why are you looking at me like that?" questioned Haruka with a curious smile.
"Nee-san's face, it's so kind..."
"Hahaha, that's probably right. Maybe I looked like a mother..." teased Haruka with a playful chuckle.
"Dad, Mom's (Haruka) face is red," observed Serena with a mischievous grin.
"Hahahaha, you're right."
Haruka frowned. "Yeah..."
"Ok, let's eat."
"Okay, coming." Serena's face lit up. "Oh, it's Mama (Ishtas)! I'm going to her!"
Children are restless...
"Mama (Ishtas)!" Serena exclaimed, his eyes gleaming.
Ishtas turned to face her son, a warm smile spreading across her face. "Serena... what's up?"
"No, I just came because Mama is here," Serena said, her voice breathless.
He spins around and peeks at Ishtas from below.
"Ugh...Serena..." she said, her voice resigned.
"I love Mama~! Does Mama hate Serena~?" Serena giggled, mischievously.
"No, I don't hate you..." Ishtas replied, a hint of amusement creeping into her tone. "Mama likes you too, Serena."
"Yay~ Mama, see you later!" Serena exclaimed, beaming.
"Okay, see you later..."Ishtas said, her voice gentle.
It seems that not even Ishtas can beat Serena's smile.
