After that, we arrived at the auction venue.
I had expected to see a lot of people gathered here, but it seems that's not the case.
"It's strange... This auction offers extraordinary deals on its featured items, yet it's so deserted," Fleur commented, her voice filled with curiosity as she looked around the empty venue.
"It's also odd that there are no customers attracted by the talk of Rosalia being sold for five copper coins and a slave with a Japanese name being sold for one silver coin," Elsa added, her eyes scanning the area with a hint of disbelief.
"And the fact that there are no members of the Orcman clan here is really strange," Fleur continued, her voice tinged with a sense of mystery.
"Fluer, how do you know if there are members of the Orcman clan or not?" I asked, intrigued by Fleur's observation.
"The Orcman clan members are all tall and well-built, so you can tell at a glance... Well, they are like bears... that kind of people," Fleur explained, her tone carrying a mix of fascination and certainty.
"Yeah, you can tell at a glance," Elsa chimed in, nodding in agreement with Fleur's description.
Indeed, there are no such individuals here.
However, there are a few people who catch my attention more than the auction itself.
They seem more concerned about the venue than the auction.
Well, they seem pretty weak, so there's probably no need to worry about them...
"The auction will now begin! In this main venue, there are many 'special circumstances' slaves, but if you are willing to pay for them, you can find many slaves at a bargain price... please bid on them."
Finally, the auction is starting.
But... Can I really have a normal romantic relationship?
Both Fluer and Elsa are slaves...

Hmm, it's just a bunch of old men. Some auctions might not even have any bids placed.
"Serena-sama, it's almost time," Fleur whispered, her voice filled with a mix of anticipation and concern.
"Which one?" I asked, my curiosity piqued as I turned to Fleur for guidance.
"Probably Rosalia," Fleur replied, her eyes fixed on the stage where the auctioneer was preparing for the next item.
"Although the order might be slightly off, they usually start with the cheaper ones... The noble ladies and elves come later," Elsa chimed in, her knowledge of auction proceedings shining through.
But wasn't Rosalia supposed to be a noble lady?
Maybe I misunderstood something.
After that, the auction continued with only old men's slaves, and then...
"Now, everyone's been waiting for the 'villainess Rosalia'! Does anyone want to kill this terrifying woman? Since she's hated by the Hero Clan, there's no need to guarantee her life. Starting from five copper coins, no life assurance."
'What? Is that a monster?'

'Why are they showing something like that?'
As the auctioneer's words hung in the air, the mood in the room shifted from anticipation to disapproval.
"Fleur, is that real?" I asked, my voice filled with disbelief and concern.
"It looks real to me," Fleur replied, her eyes fixed on the figure of Rosalia on the stage.
"This is terrible... It's too cruel," I murmured, my heart sinking at the sight before us.
She's too slender for my taste.
Half of her face is burned, including her hair... but the remaining half is incredibly beautiful.
Even though Fluer and she should be the same age, she looks more than ten years younger.
She has both legs, but her hands are missing from the elbows... and her right breast is caved in... She was probably mutilated?
"And what is the Hero Clan?"
"They're said to have the blood of the old Hero Party."
Zect-onii-chan, is a bit strange... but he's a good person...
Also... Zect-onii-chan, Lida-onee-chan, Maria-onee-chan... even Mel wouldn't do such horrible things... even if the other person is a villain...
"No... Hero Clan... Heroes wouldn't do something like this... They have a sense of justice and kindness," I asserted.
"Serena... that's not true... even I... hey..." Elsa interjected, her voice trailing off.
Well, it doesn't matter for now...
"Elsa, I'll ask for more details later... One silver coin!" I announced, determined to participate in the auction despite the doubts swirling within me.
"Oh! Does someone hold a grudge against Rosalia? One silver coin has been bid! One silver coin! One silver coin!" the auctioneer proclaimed, capturing the attention of the attendees.
As the bidding commenced, murmurs of intrigue and speculation spread through the crowd.
'So someone placed a bid...'
'They must really want to buy her...'
"Okay... Rosalia sold for one silver coin," the auctioneer declared, finalizing the transaction.
It seems that the slaves are handed over after the auction ends...
Now that the name 'Hero' has been mentioned, I can't stay uninvolved.
After that, I observed the auction for a slave named Mari, with a Japanese name... but she was just an ordinary old lady.
Moreover, she had red hair... She might just be an ordinary person with a Japanese name.
Since there were proper bids for her, I ignored her.
Anyway, I have to ask everyone for more details once I take in Rosalia from the Hero Clan for now...
It angers me to think that heroes like Zect-onii-chan and the others are doing something "cruel"...
