"We've finally arrived in the capital."

Traveling with Ceres-kun has been incredibly enjoyable. From the kingdom to the Holy Church Nation and now the Empire, we've come so far that we no longer need to fear the demon races.
While there might be occasional exceptions, to get from the demon kingdom to here, one must pass through the kingdom and the Holy Church Nation.
Moreover, the Empire has strong knights and soldiers, so I don't think it will be wiped out in our lifetimes. In a sense, we can finally say we're at peace.
However, with that peace also comes the absence of a significant stage. I'm also worried that Emperor Scizor, who appreciates strong individuals, might take an interest in Ceres-kun, the Dragon Slayer.
"So, what are we going to do from here?"
"The same as before, how about continuing to live happily as adventurers?"
"Is that okay?"
"As I mentioned before, my dream was to live with Shizuko-san, and that's already come true. So now, maybe finding a stable place to live, like a second home, buying a house, and living a relaxed life. What do you think, Shizuko-san?"
"Don't you want to achieve something or climb the ranks?"
"No, not at all. My adventures with Zect and the others on those days were enough. No matter how much recognition or promotion I get, it might become a heavy and tough responsibility. So this is enough for me. Besides, if I'm just an adventurer, I can't be blamed for 'running away,' no matter what."
"That makes sense. A peaceful and tranquil life, away from the turmoil of the Demon King and the demon races... sounds perfect."
"It sure does. Shall we go then?"
"Yes."
In this peaceful and enjoyable everyday life, as long as there's love from and for each other, that's more than enough. As we passed through the gates of the Empire, I made a wish for these peaceful days to continue forever.
"As long as Ceres-kun is here, I'm happy."
