Summary of the previous chapter: When Nakagaito and I went to the bookstore to buy a romance novel for girls, I found out that Kashiyama-san was a fujoshi.
I was a bit surprised when I found out that Kashiyama-san, my senpai at work, who seemed friendly and happy at first, is actually a fujoshi.
But nowadays, books and comics about BL are openly sold in stores, and I knew that there is a demand for such things, so I wasn't really shocked or disgusted by it.
Well, I myself have accidentally bought comics about BL, and I have to admit, they turned out to be surprisingly interesting.
And with the comparison of a Blackboard X Chalk, I understand what it means. Maybe it's too late for me to realize it as well.
"Oops, I'm going to be late for work. Well, I'll see you at work again tomorrow."
Kashiyama-san said, and I nodded in agreement.
"Yes, see you tomorrow."
Then, I suddenly noticed that Kashiyama-san's uniform were the same as the ones girls wore at my high school.
I hadn't noticed before because the girls at the patisserie change into the shop's uniform.
The next day, I asked Nakagaito about the book she bought yesterday.
"How was the book from yesterday?"

I was told that she didn't really understand syosetu, but I guess it's different from the ones you buy at bookstores.

With this, Nakagaito seems to have found a way to handle her weakness in Japanese, and I can focus on helping Shinonome-san and Saikachi-san with math.
Well, helping others with their studies is something that requires understanding the subject matter and learning methods for yourself, so it's beneficial for me as well.

"For now, let's talk while we go to the patisserie."

While we were talking, we decided to go towards the patisserie.
"I study a bit and talk with my classmates, but I'm mostly a big fan of anime and manga. I don't actively discuss them in front of my classmates, but I don't feel like I stand out in class."
"I see, it's easier for boys. They can openly talk about anime and manga without people really caring."
"Well, boys are usually more childish and there are manga specifically made for them. On the other hand, shoujo manga includes BL manga and TL manga, so it's not easy to read them in public."
"That's true. The target age range for shoujo manga seems too wide. But I don't think many boys like BL like Hata-kun does."
"No, you misunderstood. I don't actually like BL. I just appreciate the love and care that authors put into meaningful relationships, even if it involves BL. "It seems like our preferences for pairings don't match."
"Well, yeah, it seems that way. This is just a matter of personal taste, you know. In the end, when it comes to hobbies, everyone has their own preferences, and there's no such thing as a common ground that everyone agrees on. It's the same with being a fan of idols or mobile games."
When I said that, Kashiyama-san nodded.

As we continued the conversation like that, we arrived at our part-time job.
"Good morning!"
I chuckled to myself as I saw Kashiyama-san energetically greet Ikurumi-san with a friendly attitude suitable for customer service, and then I greeted her as well.
"Good morning, Ikurumi-san."
"Yes, good morning. Are you two working together today?"
Ikurumi-san said that, and then I replied.
"Yes, I found out yesterday that Kashiyama-san and I went to the same school when we ran into each other at a bookstore."
"Really? Well, good to see you again today."
"Yes."
"Yes."
After that, we were busy with work and couldn't talk much, but maybe Kashiyama-san and Shibata-san will be friends.
I don't think Shibata-san is into that fujoshi stuff, though.
