"Okay, let's go then."
"But before we go to the courtyard... Hata-kun, here's your bento."
Saikachi-san said, handing me a rather large bento.
I couldn't help but notice that Saikachi-san's bento was small and cute.
"My lunch is quite big, is that okay?"
"Well, I thought since you're a boy, you could eat that much."
While talking about this, we arrived at the courtyard.
There were benches and tables available, and the weather was pleasant today, making it a comfortable place to eat. We sat on the bench and placed our lunches on the table.

The different colors, like red, yellow, green, brown, and white, make the food look very nice. It's clear that the nutrition was thought about carefully.

First, I used my chopsticks to pick up the omelette and took a bite.
The omelette is light and fluffy, just like you would expect.
"Saikachi-san, this omelette is really yummy. You've improved a lot at making omelettes."
When I said that, Saikachi-san smiled shyly.
"Yes, I practiced a lot to be able to make tasty omelettes."
Next, I tried the asparagus-wrapped pork rolls with my chopsticks.
"Mmm, the teriyaki sauce is sweet and savory, and it tastes really good with rice."
"Ah, I'm glad you think so. I was worried that I cooked it for too long."
Also, the sausages, cherry tomatoes, and boiled broccoli with mayonnaise were all delicious, and I couldn't stop eating.
Before I knew it, the bento was empty.
"Thank you for the food. It was really tasty. Saikachi-san will make a great wife."
"B-being a wife, huh... hehe, thanks a lot.
Even if it's just praising, I'm happy."
"It's not just praising, though."
Saikachi-san blushes shyly, but when I hear things like "my wife's cooking is terrible," I understand that there are some really bad cooks out there.
I think being able to cook delicious meals is very important.
That's why I'm also part of the home economics club.
