Volume 2 Chapter 24 Kokonoe-San And Saikachi-San's Doubles Match Was Amazing
Even though our volleyball team suffered a big loss in the third round, all we can do now is cheer.
It seems like the boys' soccer, girls' basketball, and girls' tennis doubles made it through, but the boys' tennis doubles and the mixed boys and girls volleyball teams lost.
"It's surprising, but we have a lot of sports fans in our class, huh?"
By the way, in the sports clubs around here, there are strong high schools like Kenbune Funabashi, Narashino, Tokyo Gakkan Funabashi, and Yachiyo Shoin. These schools are known for being strong in baseball, soccer, and even volleyball. So, we decided to split up and help each other again, and I teamed up with Shinonome-san.
Hirose-kun and Gouriki-kun decided to go watch a soccer game, and Nakagaito and Namiki-san are going to watch a girls' basketball game.
"I think I should try to make more friends in class..."

"Hata-pippi, you're already doing various club activities and part-time jobs, isn't it hard?"
"Yeah, it is. From Monday to Saturday until around 1 PM, I'm mostly busy with shooting videos for YouTube, participating in the home economics club, and working at the patisserie. And even on Sundays, I have some plans here and there. Hirose-kun seems to go to cram school, so maybe he has less free time than me."

"Well, he's one of the few guy friends I have, and we became close quickly in high school."
Maybe it's time to ask Namiki-san and Gouriki-kun about their birthdays too?
As we were talking about these things, we finally reached the tennis court.
And Kokonoe-san and Saikachi-san's match had already started.

Kokonoe-san is still really quick with her serves, and the other team's front line can't react.
In tennis, if the ball hits your body, you lose a point. It seems like it hurts a lot when a fast ball hits you.
It's definitely scary when something like that comes at you so fast.

"Congrats on winning, both of you."
Shinonome-san also says while clapping.
"Wow, Eri-chin, you were great. I'm proud to have you as a friend."
Saikachi-san says, blushing.

Then, Shibata-san says while giving towels and sports drinks to both of them.
"Good job, both of you. Here, towels and sports drinks for you."
"Thank youuuu."
"Yeah, thanks."
And I ask Saikachi-san.
"Well, I think sports depend on physical ability and training, right? Did you play tennis, Saikachi-san?"
"Um, I had tennis classes in gym since I was in elementary school, so I somehow managed to keep up with it."
"I see... Well, if you've been doing it in gym since elementary school, I guess you'd become somewhat good at it, right?"
Shinonome-san nodded in agreement at my word.
"I also did a bit of tennis in class, but I don't think I can do it like Eri-chin."
Shibata-san also nodded at Shinonome-san's words.
"I can't do it either, definitely impossible."
