Now, I had some expectation that Shibata-san would dive into the otaku swamp of Touken Ranbu doujinshi, but it happened a lot faster than I thought.

But I'm fairly okay with reading shoujo manga and such, so I hope that my preferences and Shibata-san's preferences align somewhat, making it easier to evaluate.
Also, tomorrow is Saturday, and Fumi-chan's school cultural festival will be held. I should inform Ikurumi-san that I want to finish work early just for that.
"Excuse me. Tomorrow, I'll be going to the neighboring high school's cultural festival, so if Kashiyama-san comes, please let her know I'll be leaving early."
As I said that, Ikurumi-san smiled and nodded.

I get off at the East Funabashi Station on the JR Sobu Line local train, and from the south exit, I walk straight south for about 10 minutes to get to the school.
I went to the school gate reception and got a paper to vote for the best things at the festival. I went to Fumi-chan's class first, Class 1-1.
The classroom entrance had bright lights and looked like a casino. There were balloons too.
The desks were connected, and there were green mats on top. It felt like a high school festival.
"Hello! Please choose your chips," someone said.
Instead of chips, there were pencils, candy, and umeboshi sticks.
"I'll have the pencils, please."
I got 10 pencils to use as chips, and the class was very lively. There was a person in a black vest and a girl with bunny ears explaining the rules.
As people continue to gamble, some feel really happy when they win, while others get very frustrated when they lose.
When I look around the classroom to see where Fumi-chan is, it seems like she is working as a person who spins a wheel with numbers on it.

"Yeah."
So, that's why we headed towards the Railway Research Club.
There were many types of lunch boxes, but I chose the most popular one at Chiba Station, the rapeseed flower lunch box. It's a fancy lunch box that reminds me of rapeseed flowers, which are the symbol of Chiba prefecture. It has minced chicken and boiled eggs that are shaped like rapeseed flowers, and even includes a skewered clam to take a break from using chopsticks.
We sat facing each other in a dining area that was designed like a train compartment and started eating.
"It's only 600 yen and it comes with tea, so it's quite cheap."
I said, and Fumi-chan nodded and added,
"And the best thing about station lunch boxes is that they still taste good even when they cool down."
After we finished eating, Fumi-chan and I explored the station together. There was a Quiz Club where they were having a fast-paced quiz. Fumi-chan ended up winning, while I was completely hopeless.
"As expected, Kenbune. The quiz questions were difficult."
I commented, and Fumi-chan replied.
"Haha, maybe so."
After that, we tried a handmade merry-go-round made by the first-year students. It was so well made that you wouldn't believe it was made by high school freshmen.
"It's amazing that first-year high school students made this."
"Yeah, it really is."
Then, it was time for Fumi-chan to go back to class.
"I should go back to class soon."
"Oh, you tried your best."
"Thanks a lot for helping earlier, Atchan."

When I asked, Fumi-chan looked sorry.
