"Yeah, it's really spicy," Li Xia awkwardly replied, quickly turning his head away. In that split second earlier, he had caught a glimpse of a mysterious bulge on his aunt's chest.
"Have you been studying well lately?" Asakawa Aki desperately attempted small talk, wanting to disappear into a hole.
"Yeah, I have," Li Xia mumbled, avoiding eye contact.
The atmosphere in the room had reached its peak of awkwardness.
Suddenly, a phone rang, the sound coming from the charging dock on the sofa.
Asakawa Aki froze, reaching for the phone. She glanced at the caller ID, her face changing slightly. Without answering, she hung up the call.
In that moment, Li Xia managed to see the note on the phone: Mori Mari.
"It's definitely Mori Mari," Li Xia frowned. Mori Mari was two levels older than Li Xia and was confirmed through the information provided by Komachi Akane.
Next second, the disconnected phone emitted a "ding" sound of a message alert.
Li Xia quickly glanced at the screen. It was a photo, with a slightly dim background, but it was clear that two people were intimately close together, one of them being Mori Mari.
And the other person was a handsome woman, whom Li Xia looked particularly familiar with.
"Damn it!" Li Xia almost got so angry that he wanted to overturn the table right there. The woman in this photo was himself, and he didn't know when Mori Mari had taken it secretly.
