After that, I said goodbye to Rath and walked through the town.
I was heading towards the inn where Victor-san was staying.
I'm curious about things like 'Relic (Heaven's Legacy)' and 'Heart of the Stars', but they're not something I can find right away.

First, I decided to go meet Victor-san.
"Um, I think Victor-san is staying here. I'm an acquaintance of Victor-san's――"
"Oh, he hasn't come back here since his first stay."
The innkeeper replied to my words.

Despite the innkeeper's smiling response, unease was growing inside me.

"...No way, Victor-san is definitely just lost on the way."
If I leave him alone, I feel like he'll never find his way back to this inn again.

I was approached by two women.
One had long, neat black hair, and the other had charming red short hair.
"Nina and Mary...?"
They were the receptionists at the guild.
"Hehe, we have the afternoon off today."
"We're obligated to take paid leave at least once a month, you know."
The two explained.
Oh, it seems like a nice environment at 'Blue Crystal.'
"Oh, right. How about having a meal together?"
Mary suggested.
"Nina will be happy, for sure."
"U-um, Mary-chan..."
"Nina is a bit shy, so I'll support you."
"Geez..."
While blushing, Nina quietly whispers to Mary.
"Thank you..."
"You're welcome."
...Hmm, they seem to think they're secretly talking, but unfortunately, I can hear them.
"Shall we go somewhere with the three of us?"
I'm starting to feel a bit hungry too.
So, we moved to a nearby café.
"Why is Rain-san here? It's not for a quest, is it?"
Nina asked.
"Yeah, I came to meet someone."
As I answered, Nina's expression stiffened.
"To... meet someone?"
"Yeah, a guy named Victor whom I met the other day."
"...Oh, I thought you were going to meet a woman. That's a relief."
"Nina mumbled quietly."
Yep, I can hear that too...
