I focused my eyes on what floated in the emblem.
It was like some kind of image.
The pitch-black night sky and the countless stars.
A wilderness with towers made of stone standing in rows.
And a white shining figure――.
'This is a place called the "Heart of the Stars." It is the center point of this world. And it is the point from which "Relics" are born and passed on to people――.'
A voice announced.
'Once, someone who had the same power as you engraved a message on this knife...'
"A message?"
While muttering, I felt the heartbeat of my heart pounding.
The same power as me――.
Is it okay to call it a cheat, this enchantment magic?
Or perhaps it's a completely different kind of ability.
Either way, it must have been a power beyond the norm.
Was there someone else besides me...?
Once again, I focused my eyes on the image.
There were many white figures.
They seem to have their own 'powers'.
One person released flames into the sky, illuminating the entire sky with a dazzling red light.
Another person constructed a massive castle in an instant.
Yet another person summoned a dragon the size of a planet.
And there were others――
All of them possessed extraordinary abilities.
'I want you to visit the "Heart of the Stars". I couldn't do it myself, but someone must carry on the will. Someone must reach there.'
The voice said to me.
Those were the words of someone who claimed to possess the same power as me.
'Someday, if you ever visit there... let's meet again...'
With those words, the brilliance faded.
The knife no longer bore the emblem of light.
"'The Heart of the Stars'..."
I couldn't quite understand what the voice was saying.
But I felt a grand atmosphere.
Who would have thought I would come across such a profound message at a random weapon shop.
"What's wrong, Rain-san?"
Rath looked at me with a curious expression.
"Huh? Did you not hear the voice just now?"
"Voice?"
Rath's expression became even more curious.
...It seems like I was the only one who could hear the voice just now.
Maybe only the person with that 'Relic' thing can hear it.
No, according to the conversation earlier, it seems like I have this thing called 'Relic', but I have no idea.
"Someday, if you ever visit there... let's meet again... Huh?"
