"Is this the place? Is this the right place? I haven't gotten lost again, have I..."
The middle-aged swordsman looked around several times before entering the guild.
"Oh, it says 'Blue Crystal.' Seems like I'm not mistaken... Well, I was really lost for a while there."
The man seemed a bit worn out.
With a sharp face and messy black hair,
And black armor,
He was a middle-aged swordsman dressed entirely in black.
"Good grief, I really have no sense of direction."
Seems like he talks to himself a lot.
He walked all the way to where I was.
"You are--"
I understand.
It's because his sword and my 'Refaid of The Light Dragon Emperor Sword' are resonating.
"It's nice to meet you. I am Victor, a C-rank adventurer."
"I'm Rain Garland."
I introduced myself again.
"I've heard of your reputation."
Victor nodded.
"I have been guided by the sword. It's something I obtained recently in a certain ruins--"
Te said, taking out the sword still in its sheath.
Sure enough, that sword--
I can see it resonating with my 'Refaid Sword' and emitting light through the sheath.
"I knew that there were several swords that resonate, so I headed towards their origin. But I have a terrible sense of direction. I got lost countless times."
Victor said, and continued.
"First, I ended up in the Mizell Kingdom."
"Isn't that the opposite direction from here?"
"Then I wandered into the Dukedom Elise."
"It's a country located on an isolated island."
"I even ended up going as far as Sardle."
"You mean the icy land at the northern end?"
This person is seriously directionally challenged.
"It seems like there is some connection between your sword and mine."
"Yes, my sword is called 'Refaid Sword.' It's a legendary sword."
"Legendary... So, is my 'Emerald Claw (Roselia)' also such a prestigious sword?"
I guess he didn't notice it until now...
"I usually use it for packing or as a temporary cooking knife, but I guess I need to change how I use it a bit."
That's a bit weird as a way to use a legendary sword...
He seemed like someone with a strong personality or something.
