Volume 12 Chapter 3 Respect And Gratitude
"Very soon, it seems that you will be awarded the title of a hero."
I was informed of this by an important person from the Uralis Kingdom, the Minister of Internal Affairs.
"As expected... just as Martina said."
I couldn't express how I felt.
Even if I'm called a hero, I still can't feel it.
Besides, it would be better if someone like Martina, who has been striving with a sword since childhood and aiming to become a hero, received such a title.
If she defeated the Light Dragon King and saved the world, Martina is the same.
"Oh, you don't seem very happy, do you?"
The minister looked puzzled.
"No, well... I think it's a title that is too much for me."
I tried to explain.
It would be disrespectful to make a displeased face at a title that might be awarded directly by the king.
"I heard it from Martina-sama. She said that you are not someone who cares much about wealth and honor... "
"Huh, from Martina?"

The Minister of Internal Affairs spoke passionately.
Their eyes were sparkling as they looked at me.
It seemed like they were genuinely praising me, not just saying nice things.
"If you would accept the honorary title from us, we would be grateful."
"...Okay, I will accept it humbly."
I'm not really comfortable with fancy titles, but...
I decided to accept their feelings.
"Also... I have a good relationship with the branch manager of the Adventurer's Guild, and it seems like there's talk of granting you an S-class certification."
"What? I'm an S-class!?"
I shouted in surprise.
Just a little while ago, I was nothing more than a behind-the-scenes helper for the "Fang of the Beast King."
Now, I'm being recognized as an S-class, the pinnacle of all adventurers...?
It's hard to grasp reality, and I'm not sure how to react.
Well, if I become an S-class, I'll probably be accepted by the adventurer guild I belong to and even by 'Blue Crystal'.
Let's gladly accept that too.
