Nina looked at me with a piercing gaze.

Mary, the receptionist from the neighboring seat, said.
"You can't just leave her be."

I ran, almost being pushed forward by Mary's encouragement.
I left the guild building and caught up with Nina in the courtyard.
"Nina!"
She was hunched over, sitting on a bench.
"Oh, I'm sorry... I was just shocked, so I wanted to feel the breeze outside... I thought Rain-san might disappear again."
Nina explained, her face clouded with sadness.
I sat down next to her.
"I want to be together more... I want to see you more... always together... but it's painful to be apart again."
"Nina...?"
"I... I care about Rain-san..."
Nina looked down.
"Um, I think I've been aware of it for a while. And then... the other day, we were separated for a while, and I realized my feelings clearly."
"Nina...?"
"I... I like you, Rain-san."
