Lily blushed bright red in response to Martina's teasing.

Then, Margaret stares at her.
"I've noticed that too. Lily totally acts different when it comes to him..."
"N-No, it's not like that! I-I mean, it's just... well, maybe it is, but... umm..."
Lily stumbled over her words.
And then it happened.
"――!"
The expressions of the three suddenly turned serious.
They narrowed their eyes and scanned the surroundings.
(――Someone's here.)
Something was there.
Something incredibly intimidating, a powerful entity.
"Oh, so you noticed my presence."
It was sudden.
The space that was calm until now trembled, and a young man appeared.
"You...!"
He had the appearance of a human, but it was certain he wasn't one.
A demon.
Dark races from a different world called the Demon World.
Lily has faced demons a few times in her adventures.
They are formidable enemies with physical abilities and magic powers far surpassing humans.
"You have a legendary sword and you're heading in this direction... Does that mean our goals are the same?"
The young demon smiles.
"'The Heart of the Stars'――you're seeking the power that lies there too."
"The Heart of the Stars...?"
"Hmm, you don't know? Well, it doesn't matter."
The demon grinned.
"Only one can reach the depths of 'The Heart of the Stars' and gain its power... I'll eliminate anyone who might become a rival."
