Chapter 184 My House In Swiglefen
I asked Centrena to take me down to the rooftop of the building that used to be the Swiglefen branch of the adventurer's guild. It seems that Mother (Privia) occasionally came here too, and when she did, she was probably brought here by Alesion.
Wow, this is amazing. I was surprised when I tried going down to the rooftop. Besides the entrance, the size is fit for Mother. Which means, Centrena and the others might fit in easily too.
The door opened smoothly. Maybe no one enters or exits from here? It's not locked. Did they leave it open because they knew I would come in, or did they anticipate my arrival?
I went inside for now. Yep, there's enough space for two people to pass each other. Which means, yes, Centrena and Alesion can come in with me.

I walk through the gap between the wall and Centrena and go to close the door's latch. Just in case, you know. I don't think anyone will come in, but if Berberi-san and them were here, it would be different.
Anyway, I continue through the passage that Mother can fit through. I go down the stairs, pass through the second floor, and head to the first floor.
"Wow, this is pretty cool."
It's wooden, but it's been waxed so nicely, it's shiny. Alesion immediately lays down to secure the area. Centrena walks behind me.
Surprisingly, the reception counter has a sink and a stove shaped like magic stones. Looking up, there are magic stone ventilation ducts too. They really went all out with this renovation. I wonder what's at the back? It looks like some sort of storage. They must have made it versatile for anything.
Of course, there are also a couple of small rooms, nothing in them, but they seem like they could be guest rooms.
Originally, this building was not small. It used to accommodate quite a number of staff and a significant number of adventurers. They had to handle reception, processing carcass, moving in and out from the back, storing materials, and more. In addition, it's a very familiar building to me, as I could handle treatment for 200 people a day.
The treatment room on the first floor seems to have been cleared out. They might have made it spacious for everyone to use, including Centrena and Alesion.
And there are sofas and tables for to relax with Centrena and the others - which is nice.
When I go up the stairs, I'll find that the door on the right leading to the back of the counter is gone. Originally, the counter had two levels, with the first level connected to a warehouse in the back. The second level was used as an office for administrative work, if I remember correctly. That's why even though I go up the stairs, there is no second floor.
When I go back to the third floor, there are two rooms on the left and one big room on the right. This must be around the Guild Counter. And at the very back, there's one more room. When I open the door, there's a window with familiar curtains. In the left corner, there's a bed, and there's also a sofa. There's a desk and a chair in the back, so I can do a little research there.
Oh yeah, where's the bathroom? Ah, here it is. There's a separate bathroom next to the toilet on the right side. They did a good job... wait a minute, the water's boiling. Does that mean they brought a Magic Tool from Watterhill's?

The room on the left side in the front is smaller than the former manager's room, but it's set up with furniture just like before. Of course, there's also a bathroom and a toilet. The other one is a bit smaller again. This one's also a proper room. It's probably like a guest room.
