Volume 1 Chapter 32, Part 2 Mean Villainess, Touching on Love Stories
It seems to be quite a fairy-tale-like ending.
However, to go to the grave every single day, it seems that the fifth king was indeed a devoted man.
"I wonder if he disappeared out of sadness from losing the one he loved, the fifth king is?"
As I muttered this, Rudger started to chuckle.
"Huh, what?"
"I was thinking that rather than being enraptured, you're more concerned about the cause of the fifth king's death."
"Well, that's true. But isn't it interesting?"
"It is interesting!"
Rather, I was hoping that there might be some mention of it.
In the end, it seems like he only created a flower field.
To put it simply, I might end up not knowing the cause of the fifth king's death or why the queen was apologizing to me in that dream.
Since there's no way to investigate further, should I just be satisfied knowing that the fifth queen and Lady Ruby appeared in that dream?
While thinking about such things, I open the door to the room where Mister Bruno and Rolus are likely to be.
Then Mister Bruno welcomed me with a smile.
"You've cleared things up a lot."
Most of the pile of documents I saw at first had been cleared away.
"Thanks to Rolus."
"No, I didn't do anything."
Rolus, who was praised by Mister Bruno, seems to be a little shy.
My Attendant is so cute.
"These documents were collected by Rolus with the intention of making Ellie interested, so feel free to look at them or take them home as you like."
"Really?"
When I took a quick peek, I saw documents related to the fifth and 6th kings.
Just as I'd expect from my proud Attendant.
He knows what I'm interested in.
"Thanks, Rolus"
"No"
"...Ah, so just like in the story, the fifth queen died at the age of 27. The 6th king was only ten years old..."
I pretended not to have heard Rolus say "It was the cause of death after all" and looked at the documents.
The queen dies at the age of 27, and the fifth king disappears 5 years later.
And the 6th king will be crowned at the age of 18... 18?
Isn't there some weird blank 3 years?
"Lady, are you going to buy a game?"
"Ah, that's right!"
Although I did have various concerns about the materials at hand, I wouldn't say my interest is stronger than the temptation of the game just yet.
The 3-year blank period is a bit concerning, though.
"Ahh, Ellie, wait a moment. As an apology for borrowing Rolus for such a long time, I promised to borrow something you'd like to read when I go to the Royal Central Library next time."
"That's right!"
Speaking of which, I brought Rolus to Mister Bruno because of that.
Um, let's see, I'm really struggling with this.
Since I have materials about the fifth and 6th kings right now, should I go for a book about the Six Magic Knights after all?
"...Oh, right, Mister Bruno, I want to know about sealing."
"Sealing?"
"What kind of magic is sealing anyway? Defense Magic?"
I was thinking that there was no mention of sealing in the Defense Magic textbook I borrowed from Leve, and just then, Mister Bruno's eyes, which were initially confused, began to sparkle with delight.
"Sealing is a spell."
It was unexpectedly a spell.
"Does that mean it's a magic that has already been lost?"
When I asked that, Mister Bruno nodded slowly.
"I can still do it to an extent. The seal is a concealment. It was a spell to hide something without leaving any trace. When you unravel history, you sometimes come across it."
Sealing is concealment.
So that means a seal was placed on me, and something was being hidden from me?
"Some seals have taken several people and decades to remove, so it's a relatively easy spell for a spellologist."
Lady Ruby managed to release the blast all by herself!?
No, Lady Ruby said it was a mission, so I guess she knew how to release it.
"Okay, anyway, next time I go to the Royal Central Library I'll borrow some books on sealing spells. I'm so glad that Ellie seems to be really interested in Spell-ology! "
"Ah, hahaha"
Seeing Mister Bruno's happy smile, I could only let out a somewhat dry laugh.
Because the teacher's face looked like a geek trying to pull me into his swamp.

After all that, when I finally arrived at the toy store, my desired item was sitting there.
"It wasn't sold out, Rolus!"
"...I figured as much."
Perhaps because he had been scared previously, Rolus wasn't interested at all.
But for me, it was a really fun game.
Sure, the witch that jumps out was scary, but it didn't just end with scaring you, and there were multiple endings with replay value.
Even though I talked about all that here, Rolus's expression didn't change.
Despite my passionate explanation.
"Oh, I'm going to buy this board game too."
"Is that a scary game?"
"No, this is a normal game."
There's no warning about horror elements, but it's from the same creator as the witch game.
"I'll buy this too."
"That one doesn't seem scary at all."
"Right?"
But this one is from the same creator as well.
I won't tell Rolus, though.
After paying, I got on the carriage with Rolus, who was carrying today's spoils.
"When we get home, let's try one of them, Rolus."
"I want someone who isn't a witch, please"
"Eh"
"The shop assistant's hands were shaking a little. I'm sure she was scared of the witch's face."
"Really? Well, the game is fun, but the face is definitely scary."
If the witch was cute, it wouldn't be a horror game.
"Hey, let's play a witch game after all, Rolus."
"The witch will come when Sir Leve is here."
He's trying to take Leve down with him.
"But, I'm mean, so if I listen to your request, won't I lose points for being mean?"
When Rolus heard what I said, his brow creased noticeably.
At that moment, Rolus was at a loss for words.
