Volume 6 Chapter 65 Bonus
While Randy was chasing the [Pilgrim of Truth], Liz was worried about him...
"Randy and Elizabeth are missing?"
In the magistrate's mansion in the port town, Alan frowned as he listened to the report.
He happened to be at the port and thought he would stay at the magistrate's mansion for the night when the report came in.
According to the soldier who reported, the last time anyone saw them was in the evening, happily walking with a small boat from the port, and since then, no one has seen Randy and the others.
"A small boat?"
"Yes. It's a fast-moving boat made by Braubelg."
Alan remembered the boat as the soldier reported.
It was a slightly larger type of boat used to transport goods from large ships before the port was completed.
"A boat... they took it from the port? Where are they going?"
Alan, holding his head, was not worried about Randy's safety.
After all, Randy had gone missing many times before──what he called "mountain retreats"──so Alan was not shaken by just one day without seeing him.
But this time, Liz was with him.
"They could be going up the waterway to the Beast Forest... but that's unlikely since Elizabeth is with him."
Rubbing his chin, Alan leaned back against the sofa.
"Elizabeth going on a mountain retreat... that's definitely not happening."
The fact that Randy's disappearances always meant "mountain retreats" was a problem too...
But putting that aside, Alan groaned, "I just don't understand."
Even if they went to the Beast Forest, Liz would probably stop them.
Just as Alan was groaning again, he suddenly remembered what Randy and the others had been doing at the port.
"...I think they were talking about a teleportation gate──"
Just as Alan sat up, Volcan popped his head into the room and said, "What's going on? Haven't you received any reports?"
"Father... what report?"
"Oh, he said he was going fishing."
Volcan laughed heartily and mentioned that he had taken an old fishing rod and a small boat somewhere.
"Fishing. And he came back from the port to the town. And the teleportation gate... no way."
Alan's face tightened.
Could it be that Braubelg, busy with the [Pilgrim of Truth] situation...
Thinking that, he hurriedly stood up.
"Is it Braubelg?"
"Most likely."
It's no wonder Alan was holding his head in despair.
A teleportation gate.
And they were making an exit to another territory without permission.
"They aren't making an exit at the Marquis's residence, are they?"
Since there was no report from Lucian, the other side shouldn't know either.
"If he took a boat, it must be to a nearby small island."
They managed to avoid a sudden teleportation in the town and the mansion, but it was still a problem.
"This is a security issue."
No matter how connected the families are, the exit of a teleportation gate could easily look like a tool for invasion.
Of course, neither Randy nor Alan intended that, and Lucian would understand too.
But there are rules to follow.
Plus, with Braubelg's current situation.
If Victor were to fall, who knows how it could be misused.
Of course, Victor won't fall, so it's not a problem at all, but to rely on that is too arrogant.
"And they're probably in the middle of a commotion over there."
Plus, it's a territory where terrorists are active.
They might not think they are causing trouble, but Braubelg would have to welcome Randy if he came.
With Braubelg's current situation, and Randy's personality,
Alan is sure that if he sees the situation, he would shift from fishing to hunting.
"I hope they aren't causing any trouble."
Alan's worry was constant, nagging at him like a headache, wondering if Randy had accidentally blown up a building again.
He overdid it.
At such a mishearing, if Alan shuddered, Volcan would respond with a hearty laugh, "You're working hard, aren't you?"
"We're going to get a big surprise from Randy's, won't we?"
Chuckling "Gahaha," Volcan made Alan massage his temples to ease the headache, muttering, "Yeah."
"When he get back, it's a 2-hour course."
Oblivious to such matters...
"Hurry up, it's gotta be worth the time."
...Randy was complaining to the slowly opening door.
