Something strange happened, just as Alan said.
And it seems that the adults expected it.

In a quiet school with no one around, Randy and Liz walked, following Lucius.
When they had entered the [Tower of Time] before, it was nighttime, so they didn't think much of it, but during the day, the empty school felt lonely and creepy.
A silent corridor.
Only the sound of birds chirping echoed in the courtyard.
A classroom that was wide open, with the wind blowing through.
Everything felt familiar yet strange.
This mysterious scene was like stepping into another world...
"...It's kind of scary, isn't it?"
Liz gulped nervously, and Randy grinned mischievously, saying, "Looks like a ghost might appear."
"G-Ghosts don't come out in the daytime,."
Randy shook his head, saying, "No, no."
"Down by those stairs over there. Around that corridor corner..."

Liz puffed her cheeks even more, and just then, Randy shouted, "There! Someone's there!"
"Eek!"
With a cute scream, Liz jumped into Randy's arms.
Randy, caught off guard, turned red after scaring her.
As Lucius looked back at the two and smiled, saying, "Ah, young love," Liz's mood suddenly changed when Ellie appeared.
"Get off her already!"
"No, you get off!"
As the two blushed and moved apart a bit, a shadow appeared from the place Randy pointed to.
"...What are you two doing, flirting in broad daylight?"
