Volume 2 Chapter 33 What should I make？
Cain and Wayne decided to go back to the inn with 2 more liters of milk. Cain made the containers using [Create Clay] and [Earth Press]. He also requested Tony and the others to come to Sanroze town, but since Cain had no decision power, he said they'd come tomorrow with the person in charge and then returned.
"Sir Cain, are you sure that's the milk? Is it really that special an ingredient?"
Wayne couldn't believe that the mysterious white drink could be such a powerful ingredient.
"Yeah, how can I explain it so you'll understand? Hmm, if I say that with that milk, we can make ten or so more kinds of delicious sweets, does that make sense?"
"What, more than ten kinds of sweets? Let's definitely take those 2 to Sanroze town. If we get more sweets... heh heh."
Wayne seemed to be lost in his own fantasy world.
"Wayne, you're my escort, so I want you to come back too."
"Ah, I apologize. Sir Cain, when you make the sweets, could I please have a chance to taste them?"
"Yeah, sure. But isn't Wayne the one who wants to eat? It's fine, it's fine, no need to say everything."
He gave a meaningful smile and nodded in agreement.

When they returned to the inn, it was just dinner time. The meal was prepared in Lydia's room. Tonight's dinner seemed to be bread, soup, and salt-grilled chicken. Cain thought it was quite a variety as he looked at the food laid out.
And, the meal began.
"Cain, how was your walk around the village? Did you find anything interesting?"
Lydia asked while splitting small pieces of chicken, curious about today's sightseeing.
"Yes, I found some interesting things at the general store. Also, I got Cowcowbull's milk."
"Cain, what kind of food is that?"
"Elder Sister Alice, how do you know it's food? Amazing!"
"Well, recently Cain has been making lots of delicious things. I just have a good instinct, that's all."
"So, what kind of food is it?"
Lydia looks at him with keen interest.
"Yes, one is vanilla beans, a kind of spice. The other is milk. With these, you can make many new sweets and dishes."
""No way!! New sweets!!!""
The two voices harmonized, leaning forward despite being at the table to listen.
"Y-Yes. Please calm down, we're eating. And I have a favor to ask Mother Lydia. About the Cowcowbull at the mansion..."
"It's fine. I approve."
"Huh? But I haven't finished explaining yet?"
"That's okay. As long as it's for new sweets, I'll overlook a few things. Plus, more new sweets and dishes will make the area livelier and richer."
For some reason, Lydia explained why she granted permission with dreamy eyes.
"In that case, thank you. Before departure tomorrow, could you two meet with the ones providing ingredients? Please, I ask."
Lydia readily agreed, saying, "Of course."
"Then, after meals, you'll get to taste-test. Look forward to it."
""I'm really looking forward to it.""
Cain, Alice, and Lydia continued eating with smiles.

"Now then, what simple thing can I make with milk?"
Cain muttered as he looked at the ingredients in the inn's kitchen. Thanks to Lydia's passionate negotiation, he had permission to use the kitchen. Still, vegetables and meat were lined up on the counter.
"Alright, I'll go with that. This, that, and maybe that? Lala, could you bring some sugar from the wagon?"
Cain picked ingredients──flour, eggs, and apples──and asked Lala, who was with him in the kitchen, to bring sugar.
He mixed the flour, pre-purified eggs, and milk. Then he added the sugar Lala brought to prepare crepe batter. Cain explained to Lala how to make the crepes, and she did so. The apples were peeled, cored, sliced thin, then cooked in a pan with a bit of sugar to make baked apples. Finally, he placed the cooked crepe batter on a plate, added the baked apples, and made "baked apple crepes."
"Sorry to keep you waiting, this is a new dessert made with milk, probably called 'Crepe.' Do you know it?"
Finally, with a bit of an odd tone, he lined up the crepes in front of Lydia and Alice. Incidentally, everyone except Lydia and Alice had already tasted it, and it received quite a bit of praise.
"And here, I tried adding milk to the scented tea. This one is warmed milk with honey added. Please, help yourselves."
As soon as Cain finished explaining, the two of them immediately started eating.

They both ate at an incredible speed, finishing it all in the blink of an eye.
"Cain, it was really delicious. And the scented tea with milk added was also very tasty."
"I, I like this warm one because it's sweet."
Both Lydia and Alice seemed extremely pleased.
"Absolutely, we must make sure not to let go of the person who offers us this milk!"
Lydia and Alice nodded strongly as they made their declaration.
"Thank you very much, I look forward to working with you."
Cain was greatly relieved.
