She responded with 200% of her strength.
I appreciated her effort, but I pushed her body too hard.

With a splash, Frederica's ice melted away.
Amou flashed a smirk at us.
"NO way... am I STILL okay?"
"I WOULDN'T say OKAY. I'm MORE worn out than I LOOK... HONESTLY, you guys KEEP surprising me."
Amou's smile vanished like a fading shadow.
"So from NOW on, I'll GO ALL OUT."
Gulp...!
Frederica suddenly found herself rolling on the ground.
With the Eye of the Time King's quick reflexes, I barely caught a glimpse of her speed.
"FREDERICA!"
"Is it OKAY to LOOK AWAY?"

We were knocked around like balls.

But Amou shook his head.
"NOPE, he's FAR too ORDINARY. His POWER and SPEED are AVERAGE. His MAGICAL energy is about the SAME, and he has NO talent for MAGIC. There's NOTHING special about him."
"NO! The MASTER has the EYE of the TIME KING...!"
"NOPE," Amou laughs.
"That's NOT right. The EYE of the TIME KING isn't his OWN talent."
"WHAT do you MEAN?!"
Amou looks at me and says,
with eyes like he's staring at a crushed bug on the road.
"It's SIMPLE. The EYE of the TIME KING Act has... is something I GAVE him."
