I was taking Frederica to the Beastman nation of Neroguma.
Frederica, all stiff from the carriage ride, suddenly...
turns serious.
"Master."
"Yeah?"
I could feel the killing intent too.
We were probably about to meet some bastards aiming for our carriage.
"As expected of Master, to sense hostility even without divine vision. Impressive."
"They're practically radiating it. These small fries aren't worth bothering with."
The carriage creaks along.
We're passing near the forest.
For a moment, they lunged at our carriage.
But in the next instant...
Thud...!
"Master, they're down."
Frederica peeks out the window and says.
Phew.
"What did you do, Master?"
"It was Lawrence's technique. He could project his killing intent."
"Project his killing intent?"
"A martial arts master can make their opponent faint just by staring them down with malice."
I'm pretty good myself.
But I'm still nowhere near Lawrence.
But from what he taught me, I can trace his technique like this.
"Is it a special ability of the divine vision?"
"Not something that fancy. I can't even use divine vision right now. I've just seen a lot with those eyes and made it my own. I'm just using that experience."
It seems those eyes can completely steal the technique of what they see.
I can't use functions like time stop now, but I can still replicate what I saw in divine vision mode.
"As expected of Master. Even weakened, you're still a powerhouse. I'm in awe."
