Volume 6 Chapter 36 Extra
Freed the mine slaves and made them into Guild Members of the Tenyo original stone.
After that, at the Royal Capital.
"But still... Act."
"What is it, Irankus?"
We're walking towards the Guild hall.
Next to me, Irankus has a worried look on his face.
He seems anxious about something.
"Will your daughter forgive me? I'm the man who exiled her important father. She might not want to join my Guild, let alone become a sub-master..."
Hmm.
Well, it's a reasonable doubt coming from someone who doesn't know our daughter.
"I'd appreciate it if you didn't insult her."
Whoosh, Frederica steps between me and Irankus.
She inserts herself into the conversation, and physically too.
"Our daughter is of a different status than you."
"But still..."
While this is going on, we arrive at the Guild hall.
"Mr. Act!""Wow...! Mr. Act, it's been so long!"
Whoa!
Young members swarm in.
"Please come over here more!""I'm lonely──!"
I wave to the Guild Members and head towards the second floor.
Just then, a black-haired boy, a witch-hatted girl, and a red-haired cat-eared girl are coming down.
"That's the troublesome S-ranker."
Click, I point at them.
Irankus' eyes go round. "Ah, that's a real beast..." He nods as if impressed.
Then, we head straight to my daughter Henrietta's room on the second floor.
"Etta, I'm coming in."
"Papa──!"
My daughter is sitting at the table.
With a plop, she jumps up and hugs me.
"Etta, we have guests."
Psst, Frederica gives a warning.
But then, it's not like she's warning out of caution.
She just doesn't like that my daughter is monopolizing me.
"Pah... ahem. Previous head guildmaster. Who... is that guy...?"
Etta and Irankus, they don't know each other.
They've never met.
So that question makes sense.
"This is Irankus. I hired him to be the Sub-Guildmaster. You can use him."
Then...
"Understood!"
Henrietta just nodded, easy as you please.
Irankus' eyes nearly popped out.
"My daughter judges people by their *ability*. She keeps useful Humans close."
"So... I see... it was nothing to worry about then."
"Yeah. I'll leave the rest to you."
"Mmm!"
And that's how I left Irankus with my daughter.
