The next day, with the usual crew—me, Hirose-kun, Gouriki-kun, Saikachi-san, Shinonome-san—all gathered, I paused our chat for a sec and told everyone,
"Hey, can you all wait for a moment?"
Shinonome-san tilted her head, asking,

"Well, I wanna suggest something to everyone."
Then, I went over to Namiki-san, who was sitting alone, and asked her,
"Hey, Namiki-san. Can I talk to you for a second?"
She seemed flustered when I asked, replying,
"Uh, oh, sure, yes, of course."
So, I took Namiki-san back to my seat to chat.
"Next Sunday, if everyone doesn't have any plans, I was thinking we could play at Orlan with this group and deepen our friendship. What do you think?"
Orlan is a multipurpose leisure facility where people can enjoy bowling, game centers, karaoke, batting, archery, darts, billiards, and more all in one place.
It's a popular place where high school and college students, as well as families, can play all day at an affordable price.
When I said that, Shinonome-san was the first to respond.
"I'm fine on Sunday. It's great to play and have fun together, right?"
Then Saikachi-san said,
"I'm also okay. I couldn't go to the karaoke last time, so please let me join this time."
And Hirose-kun and Gouriki-kun too.
"Yeah, I'm fine."
"I'm also fine. It's great that everyone can gather and have fun together."
And finally, it's Namiki-san...
"Um, can I join in too?"
In response to those words, I nod with a smile to ease her anxiety.
"Yeah, I think everyone wants to get along. Well, Shinonome-san, Gouriki-kun, and I played karaoke together."

So, I think I successfully added Namiki-san to our group.
Now, if Shinonome-san and Saikachi-san get used to communicating with the same gender, the jealousy and negativity from others might fade away, maybe?
For that to happen, Shinonome-san, who seems fearless around anyone, will play an important role, I believe.
