Volume 2 Chapter 5 Can A S*x Worker's Experience Be Helpful For Volleyball？
Now that we have chosen the members for the ball game tournament, we have decided to have a casual practice with them.
Playing volleyball is not easy without a proper court or net.
"Okay, let's all try our best during practice."
When I said that, Shinonome-san smiled brightly and replied,
"Sure, leave it to me."
"Is Shinonome-san good at moving her body?"

So, we set aside a day to use the volleyball court and borrow the volleyball at the gym. We divided into three groups of two and decided to practice. Wearing gym clothes and jerseys, we gathered together, and I addressed everyone.

Passing is the most basic move in volleyball, where we use our thumbs and index fingers to create a triangle and pass the ball to a teammate.
Compared to other moves like serving, receiving, setting, and attacking, passing is easier. But it's important in matches and has many uses if done correctly.
"Alright!"
I throw the volleyball to Namiki-san, and she tries to return it with a pass...
"Hey!"
The ball comes back to me, but it's off target.
"Hmm?"
At first, I try to get in front of the ball and return a pass with precise form, but...
"Ah!"
The ball went in the wrong direction.
"Um, sorry."
"No, I should be the one apologizing."
After growing up and starting to work, I tried some activities like bowling and karaoke, but I didn't play volleyball. It seems like I completely forgot how to move my body.
After a while, we reached a point where we could pass the ball to each other. Then, we started practicing serving and receiving.

"Hey, you two clumsy duo!"
"Ah, it's frustrating that we can't come up with a good comeback based on facts alone."
"It's almost time to finish."
"Oh, is it that time already?"
We were so focused on practice that time passed quickly.
But compared to what I expected, I've become quite clumsy, and I might need to train seriously if I want to improve.
