Volume 2 Chapter 50 The Novels Shibata-San Has Written Are Classics, But They Seem To Be Popular With Women.

"Yes, yes, Hata-kun, great job. It must be tiring to study at school and then work, right?"

"Yes, working part-time after school can be a bit tough, but it's not a big deal compared to Ikurumi-san, who works from morning till night."
When I said that, Ikurumi-san also joined the conversation.

In Europe, they are widely grown and are a popular fruit used not only in sweets but also in fruit liqueurs and jams. When it comes to fruit liqueurs, cassis is black currant, so they are related, but it seems there are various types of currants. Eating them raw can be sour and a bit challenging, but when used in sweets, the refreshing sweetness and acidity of groseille are perfect for early summer."
"Oh, I see. Alright then, I'll go with that. Can I have a sweet iced milk tea, please?"
I say this jokingly to Shibata-san.
"I understand, Milady."
I picked up a slice of shortcake with red currants and pistachio, along with a red currant tart. I poured the iced milk tea into a teacup from the display, then returned the tray.
"Thanks for waiting. Here are today's recommended treats."
I said as I placed the cake and tea on the table.
"Wow, they look so colorful and delicious. Itadakimasu!"
Shibata-san exclaimed, starting to eat the cake.
Laughing beside her, Kashiyama-san asked,
"By the way, what happened to that novel you mentioned last week?"
Shibata-san smiled wryly and replied,
"Well, I've written around ten thousand characters so far..."
Then, Shibata-san took out a tablet, opened a text editor, and handed me a smartphone.
"I've at least finished the beginning of the story. Could you give it a read?"
I nodded and took the tablet. I read quickly what was written. It's about a girl who wants to be a special Shrine Maiden. But her sister is better than her.

Together, they fight bad guys who want to change history. The girl's sister asks why she was chosen instead. Hachisuka Kotetsu says it's because the sister didn't get it. The gods like Shrine Maidens who are spiritual, not just talented. After reading, I said,
"It's like Cinderella, right? Maybe girls will like it."
Upon hearing what I said, Shibata-san blushed a little, looking a bit shy.
"Hehe, I'm happy you liked it."
Kashiyama-san, who read after me, also had a positive reaction.
"Yeah, it's like a cool story in the 'Super Darling' style."
"Spadari" stands for "Super Darling," and it seems to fit perfectly.
"Your words give me some confidence. I think I'll try making this into a manga."
After saying that, I nodded, and Shibata-san replied.
"Yeah, will you show it to us when it's finished?"
Shibata-san eagerly agreed with my suggestion.
