Now, I finished my part-time job at the patisserie and came back home.

'About tomorrow's shopping, is it okay to meet at the Tsunaduma station gate at 10 am?'

'Okay, got it. Well then, see you tomorrow.'

So, the next day at work, I did the usual preparations and when Kashiyama-san arrived, I handed over to her and headed to the Tsunaduma station gate.
Unfortunately, it's raining today, but it can't be helped because it's the rainy season.
And just as I arrived at the ticket gate, Saikachi-san came out of the ticket gate and waved at me.
Saikachi-san's outfit for today is a short-sleeved black top and a knee-length skirt with a black and white floral pattern.

Well, when this store opened, it was during the craft boom, and there were stories of long queues from Tsunaduma station's ticket gate all the way to the north exit.
At that time, the basement was filled with model kits, the first floor had toys, and the second floor had materials for Western and Japanese sewing. The third floor had art supplies, calligraphy supplies, stationery, and craft materials, while the fourth floor had yarn, flower materials, and craft materials.
However, as the craft boom subsided and toys and model kits stopped selling, the store gradually reduced its sales area.
Now, it seems that only a small corner of the second and first floors is dedicated to the sales area. But according to online reviews, they still have a wide selection of yarn, fabric, ribbons, and also provide tools for manga artists such as stationery, screen tones, and Copics, as well as oil paints, watercolor supplies, and picture frames. It seems to be the largest craft supply store in Chiba Prefecture.
Well, in addition to the decreasing number of people doing crafts and dressmaking, you can now buy yarn, knitting needles, and fabric at a 100 yen store, and you can also buy fabric online. So, it seems quite difficult to continue running a craft store in a physical location.

"We're done with shopping for today, how about grabbing lunch somewhere?"
I suggested, and Saikachi-san nodded with a smile.

So, we headed to the popular bistro near the building where Yuzawa-ya is located.
Thinking of having lunch after the hospital, I searched for Tsunaduma.
We went to a bistro that's rumored to have delicious pot-au-feu. When we opened the door, a female staff member greeted us.
"Welcome. Are you the guests with a reservation?"
"Oh, no, we don't have a reservation."
"Then this way, please."
And we were guided to a table in the back.
The menu, wine glasses, and a bottle of water were brought to us, and the staff poured water into the glasses properly.
Looking at the menu, I ordered the lunch pot-au-feu set, and Saikachi-san chose and ordered the pan-fried sea bream.
The first thing brought to us was a rich and delicious cold pumpkin soup.
"Hmm, the creaminess of the cream and the taste of the pumpkin go well together."
"Yes, it's true. The cold soup is very delicious, especially in this slightly hot weather."
We could choose between rice and bread, but since it's a bistro, we chose bread.
The bread seemed homemade, and it was warm with steam rising, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the butter had a rich and delicious flavor.
And each main dish was brought.
The pot-au-feu had a very concentrated vegetable flavor and was extremely delicious.
The vegetables also seemed to not be frozen, and when you chewed them, the flavor of the vegetables came out and they were delicious.
The meat included three types: sausage, pork belly, and chicken wings. The meat had been simmered slowly and was melt-in-your-mouth tender, disappearing as soon as you put it in your mouth. It was also incredibly delicious.
The pan-fried sea bream also looked quite delicious.
Finally, the pudding and iced coffee were brought. I think the bitter caramel goes well with the coffee.
This meal is only 1300 yen, which is cheap, and the service is fast, so it's not stressful.
After we finished eating, we stood up, paid the bill, and left the restaurant.

When I looked at the clock, it was still around 1:30 p.m.
"Originally, I was planning to go somewhere else, so we still have plenty of time. Do you want to go somewhere where the two of us can relax?"
I asked Saikachi-san, and she nodded in agreement.
"Yes, I would definitely like to do that."
"Well then, how about we go to the planetarium located in Funabashi City General Education Center in Chiba Prefecture, where we can relax even if it's raining? It's not too far, just a 3-minute walk from Iiyama-mitsu entrance after taking a bus from Tsunaduma North Exit."
"Ah, then let's go there."
And so, we decided to take a bus from Tsunaduma Station's North Exit and go to the planetarium located in Kenbune Funabashi City General Education Center.
The planetarium is a perfect dating spot where you can enjoy a starry sky even in the rain, without feeling too hot or too cold, and without being bothered by mosquitoes.
For children, there are sessions in the morning, and for the general public, sessions start at 1:30 PM and 3:30 PM.
For high school students, it's quite cheap at 250 yen for a one-hour stargazing experience.
The surrounding scenery changes from the actual scenery of the adjacent Comprehensive Education Center to the evening sky and further to the starry sky, so you can immerse yourself in the night sky without feeling out of place, and eventually the full sky of stars is reflected when the city lights are turned off and the air is clear.
Well, the facilities themselves are old, dating back to 1987, but with a dome diameter of 18 meters and 255 seats, it is the largest in the prefecture and allows you to fully enjoy a natural starry sky without distortion.
You can also enjoy a hybrid of all-around projection, and the "live commentary" of the starry sky visible that night and the talk of the friendly navigator have a good tempo and are very attractive.
The projection lasts for about an hour and after that, when you look at the exhibition hall with astronomical photographs, it was already past 05:00 pm when you returned to Tsunaduma by bus.

Saikachi-san said with a smile.

It was a fun day that we enjoyed together.
