Chapter 39 The Witch Of The Valley (Part Four)
Once again, with only one classmate left, The Witch of the Valley Pixie led us to a room at the back of the living room. The room was a windowless, wooden-panelled space, with a raised area resembling an altar at the back.
When Pixie said, "Izrit, please prepare," several mice dressed in clothes appeared and walked on two legs. Alice exclaimed, "How cute!" and one of the mice responded with a V-sign.
"Hey, don't let Izrit and the others get carried away. They tend to get arrogant and slack off quickly."
Pixie said with a wry smile. The mice had prepared seven scrolls for each person and a stand to place them on.
"Now, each of you take a scroll. Unroll it and have a look. Pay attention to it."
Pixie announced, but no one moved immediately. Perhaps due to their experiences in this world, they felt it was dangerous to act hastily.
"Well then, from me..."
I had no choice, so I headed straight for the scroll stand. Well, the result is already known, but... I randomly picked up a scroll. Everyone was watching with bated breath. I untied the scroll's string. And when I unfolded it...

Kondo Shuichi asked with an uneasy expression, so I nodded silently. When the light subsided, Alice looked at us with wide eyes.
"It seems like I can use magic... healing magic..."
Yes, it seems that everyone is actually being forced to choose the scroll that Pixie presents, although it appears as if they are choosing it of their own volition. Alice is bound to acquire healing magic.
Next is Mizuno Kaede. She reached for the scroll with a frightened expression. Before opening it, she glanced over here once. The expression on her face clearly conveyed her reluctance to open it.
