Volume 2 Chapter 75 The Next Plan Is A Small Doujin Event With Shibata-San
Now, Shinonome's birthday party is over, and the number of views on the video I shot with Nakagaito is steadily increasing, and our name as high school YouTubers is gradually becoming known, and the video I did with Nakagaito is steadily increasing. I have started to earn a decent amount of income.
Well, I don't think I can live off of this for the rest of my life, but if I consider it a part-time job for a student, it's enough income.
And the first thing I'm planning to do with girls in the future is to participate in a small doujin event with Shibata-san on July 21st.
So, the next day, Friday, after I finished my training in the morning, I started working part-time at a patisserie after school.
Then, after school, I was thinking about asking Shibata-san to go to a patisserie with me, but Shibata-san smiled and called out to me first.
"Hata-kun, would you like to go with me to my part-time job?"
"Oh, yeah, I was just thinking the same thing!"
"Ehehe, what a coincidence!"
We walked out of the school gate together and headed to the patisserie where we work.
"Has Shibata-san gotten used to working at the pastry shop?"
When I asked, Shibata-san answered with a smile.
"Yeah, at first I was really nervous about dealing with customers, but when I'm in trouble, Kashiyama-san and the manager help me out. And surprisingly, I didn't mind customer service that much."
Yeah, that's good then.
Even in customer service, as long as the customers aren't like monster complainers, things usually work out.
Working at the reception desk at the entertainment district was quite tough because there were a lot of drunk people.
Well, that's probably why handling complaints in call centers is tough, I guess.
"Besides...I've been told that both of them should not push myself too hard and just get used to it little by little."
"Oh, I see. Both Ikurumi-san and Kashiyama-san are nice people, right? It seems like some workplaces expect you to learn the job quickly."
"Yes, I'm really glad to be in a good workplace."
"By the way, how's Touken Ranbu been lately?"

"I see. I sort of understand that novels and manga are more interesting than games. But, it would be nice if you could get along with the girls in the class like this."

"Unlike boys, there are fewer girls who openly say they like games, manga, or anime."
"Well, it's true that it's hard to openly talk about otaku hobbies with girls. I don't really mind though."
"So, I was really happy and grateful when Hata-kun introduced me to Kashiyama-san."
"Oh, well that's really good then."
Well, even though there seems to be a deep divide between Kashiyama-san, who is a hardcore BL-loving fujoshi, and Shibata-san, who seems to be a dream girl, it shouldn't be a problem as long as Kashiyama-san doesn't try to drag her into it.
While we were having that conversation, we arrived at our part-time job.
"Good morning."
"Good morning. Ikurumi-san, Kashiyama-san."
Shibata-san opened the door to the shop and greeted us with a smile before I followed and greeted Ikurumi-san and Kashiyama-san.
"Yes, good morning. Oh, are you two going to work together today?"
Ikurumi-san said that, and then Kashiyama-san said the same.
"I thought before that you two are good friends."
To that, Shibata-san said with a smile.
"Yes, Hata-kun is my classmate, and we can talk about our hobbies."
I felt like Shibata-san teased me before, but now I feel like she's getting used to the atmosphere here compared to that time.
I went to the back and asked Ikurumi-san.
"Ikurumi-san, how have the recent customer visits and sales been?"
"Yes, compared to before we started posting videos, our daily sales have increased by about 20 groups and 20,000 yen per day. It's really appreciated."
It's important after all to have a good reputation if the number of customers has increased by 20 groups in a day.
New customers, while also turning them into repeat customers and increasing the number of times they make purchases, might be able to achieve this.
In the case of the adult entertainment industry, increasing the number of times customers make purchases is difficult because the unit price is high.
"Oh, that's good to hear. Increasing the number of visitors is definitely the most important for sales. "In that case, it means it's okay if Shibata-san and I have more overlapping hours, right?"
"Yes, it would be great if you could stay until early afternoon on Friday evenings and Saturdays."
"Understood. I'll try to make it happen as much as possible."
And Shibata-san also says,
"I also need money, and currently I only have classes in the morning, so I want to work as many shifts as possible."
Kashiyama-san also chimed in.
"We need a lot of money for our hobby magazines, so I'll work a lot too."
Both of them are planning to somehow earn money for buying doujinshi through this part-time job.
Until now, I had a lot of things to do on Saturdays, but I think I can manage by reducing them in the future.
"Hata-kun, it's really a big help that you come to our shop."
Ikurumi-san said with a smile, but in terms of life experience, I have more.
"Oh no, it's not that big of a deal. I'm not really working that much either, to be honest."
"But I really appreciate that you take the initiative to do things that others don't want to do, like cleaning and prep work."
"Well, that's especially important in the food and beverage industry, you know."
Well, having kind female owner-pastry chefs and colleagues is definitely a motivation model, but guys are simple, you know.
In the end, after starting our work, customers kept coming in one after another, and it became quite chaotic. As a result, it ended up being time for us to finish.
It seems that customers are coming not only in the evening after work, but also during the weekday afternoons.
And then, Ikurumi-san called out to us.
"Well then, Hata-kun and Shibata-san, you can go home for today. Hata-kun, you start at 7 a.m. tomorrow, how long can you stay?"
"I don't have any plans tomorrow, so I can stay until the evening."
"Alright, let's have Hata-kun finish at 4 p.m. tomorrow, and Shibata-san, you start at 10 a.m. and finish at 7 p.m. We have a total of 9 hours, with 1 hour overlapping for both of you. Let's try to allocate the break time during a relatively relaxed period."
"Understood."
I answered like that, and Shibata-san nodded in agreement.
"I understand."
And we changed clothes and left the patisserie.
"Hata-kun, are you looking forward to the doujin event?"
With a smile, Shibata-san asked me, so I nodded and replied.
"Yeah, the doujin event I went to with Kashiyama-san was tiring but fun, and I'm sure Shibata-san will enjoy it too."
"Yes, I think so too."
I thought Shibata-san's smile was very cute.
