Chapter 103 Installation At Swiglefen
I wanted to make sure that the specifications for operating with magic stones the size of rice grains could be prepared at Swiglefen. With this, it should be possible to run it with the country's budget.
We planned to have 20 units at the guild facility adjacent to the royal castle, but the building is not yet completed. So, we have placed 15 units inside the reception of the original guild. When we move, Mahiru-chan or Asaya-kun should have the Space Attribute, so we plan to ask them for help.
We decided to place five units at Seteas-san's accommodation, who became the new manager of the guild. The number of treatments I provide at the Swiglefen guild will gradually decrease in the future. So, when I'm not in Swiglefen, I heard that Julienne-san, who handles adventurer reception, and Nelliza-san, the official who is currently undergoing training, will take turns taking care of it.
Etoelise-san was helping Milenoa-san and ended up distributing water at the inn. They are planning to have more water shops once they get approval from the royal family. Milenoa-san's place will be the first royal shop.
The people in the town knew that the Oso (Dreadful element) poison was spreading through their fingers and toes, not just from the rumors about the Magic Tool not working.
That's why they quickly accepted the new 'Guild-marked water' that I created.
"Excuse me, can I have some water, please?"
"Yes. For new customers, you'll need a deposit of ten copper coins. Is that okay?"
"Yes. That's equivalent to five skewers, right?"

It seems like the idea of 'five skewers for ten copper coins' had really caught on. It's not considered expensive for regular people. As long as they don't break the bottle, the water will always be free.
All ten of those copper coins will go towards making a bottle. Even if it accidentally breaks, we plan to exchange it if you bring it back. The broken bottle will be used as material for a new one. It feels like recycling in action!
"Welcome to the Adventurer's Guild Swiglefen branch."
"Oh, Nelliza-san. Good to see you're doing well."
Nelliza-san, a former Hero's assistant, greeted us. She still holds the title of assistant, just not attached to a Hero anymore.
"T-thank you so much for your help back then..."
She's also one of the victims, so I don't really mind. She was rehired because she doesn't hold any grudges against Queen Risleyria-san. By the way, do you remember the knight or guard that Rosalier-san killed? They were all rejected because they held grudges. Apparently, they were the sons of some noble family. I heard they lost their jobs and are feeling lost. How unfortunate for them (casually brushes it off).
So now, the guards of the royal castle are supposed to be high-level adventurers taking on the task. Someday, it seems Asaya-kun will become a knight, but that's still a long way off. He needs to gain some real battle experience first. If he's scared, it won't be a good idea. Of course he can't protect Mahiru-chan.
As always, I passed through the door next to the reception and headed to the manager's office.
"I'm coming in!"
The moment I entered the room,
"Please give me a break!"
Whether it was upon hearing my voice or confirming my face, Seteas-san came to me in tears.
"What's wrong?"
"It used to be such an easy job, why has it become so troublesome? Did I do something wrong?"
Oh, I see. He used to be the innkeeper, right? It must have been a leisurely life, like the master of a traditional drama, but Risleyria-san wouldn't allow that, would she?

I think Seteas-san is quite knowledgeable. After all, he can find out the order of succession to the throne in the Ensgard Kingdom. It's hard to believe he was just an innkeeper.

After all, Seteas-san's immediate superior is my foster mother. She's the head manager, Privia-san, at the Guild Headquarters.
"Well then, I'll go back to treating patients, okay?"
I waved my hand behind me and left the manager's office.
And so, today as well, I finished treating about 200 people. Nelliza-san, who isn't used to it, seemed to be having a hard time. It seems that the number of people with severe symptoms is decreasing over here. I think things will calm down in a few more days. Today, there were many people with symptoms like "it stings when I take a bath."

"Welcome back, Maya! How was it?"
"Yeah, Mahiru-chan was really shining as the Holy Lady of Water and Asaya-kun was a great young man. Just a little bit, though."
Maya-chan asked for the installation of magic tools inside the royal castle. But we will install it until the guild's new facility is ready. By the way, I also went to meet Mahiru-chan and Asaya-kun. It's been a few weeks since they moved to Watterhill, so it was nice to catch up with them.
"Wow, sounds tough."
"Yeah, it is. Asaya-kun is like Maya's little brother. Maya can't afford to be outdone, you know."
Right now, Privia-san should be taking care of Queen Risleyria. Well, it's more like she's going to have fun, I guess. I'm planning to visit tomorrow.
By the way, for the inn, its name is actually 'Seteas Inn.' Thanks to Rosalier-san, the food here has become really good. I've heard that more and more people are coming here every day to eat.
And now, it's pretty crowded here. It's so full that some people are even standing while they eat. Seteas-san would have been happy to see this.
But you know, the top three rooms here are reserved just for us for a while. It's nice because we're used to those rooms.
"Oh, welcome back. Tatsuma-sama, Maya-sama."
"Stop calling me 'Maya-sama,' just call me 'Maya-chan,' okay? Etoelise-chan?"
By the way, the two of them are the same age. Maybe she feels awkward being called 'sama.'
"Hey, is Rosalier-san back yet?"
"Um, well, Rosalier-san is helping out in the kitchen."
"Oh."
I look towards the back of the cafeteria and see Rosalier-san, who seems quite busy. But she looks really happy. She's friends with Milenoa-san, after all.
"Well then, I'm heading back to my room."
"Maya too."
The top floor is where me and Maya-chan are. Rosalier-san's room is one floor below. I go up the stairs and say goodbye to Maya-chan. I enter my room and flop onto the bed.
"Phew, that was tiring. Not physically tired, but mentally drained maybe?"
Alright, time to take a nice, relaxing bath and then go downstairs to eat.
