Chapter 41 A Long-Awaited Reunion
I woke up in the morning and, for the first time in a while in Japan, I held my head.
"――Ooooh!"
Headache, nausea, and weariness all over my body.
"…Ughhh"
A long-awaited hangover. Seems like I drank too much yesterday.
"――Ah, 'Detoxy (detoxification)'"
As if remembering, I held my palms on both sides of my head around the temples and chanted, and the hangover easily disappeared.

Yesterday, I was supposed to be drinking with Rosalia-san until late. However, I don't remember the middle, and I have no idea how I got back to this room. It shouldn't have happened, right?
After taking a bath, I changed into my pajamas right away, so I'm still wearing them. At least, I hope I didn't show any embarrassing moments like when Maya-chan laughed at me for doing a "three-point landing" in the nude. Mahiru-chan and Asaya-kun, too. I wonder if they're still energetically being Hero-sama. Maybe it's because I'm an uncle, but it makes me worry.
When I use "Display Self-Status" on the screen, my mana level is only half of what it was. Even though I've been continuously practicing the "Pulse (Pulsating Assistive Spell)" and casting "Resurrect (Resurrection Spell)" to increase my mana level, it seems like this is the only thing that decreases it. How much mana do I actually have? Ah, I guess I forgot to cast "Mana Recover (mana recovery spell)" because I fell asleep after drinking.

I pull out a mana tea from my inventory and gulp it down in one go. It spreads through my hungover body so effectively that the hangover seems to have disappeared.

I rustle out of bed and, oh... it's quite chilly in the morning. After changing clothes, I thought of washing my face when there was a knock on the room door.
"Good morning, Goshujin-sama.. Are you awake?"
"Oh, yes, good morning. Please come in."
I'm done changing, so it's all good.
"Excuse me. Breakfast is ready. When you're ready, shall we go down to the first floor?"
"Thank you. I'll be there soon."
"Yes. We'll be waiting."
"Oh, by the way."
"Yes, what is it?"
"Rosalia-san, didn't you drink too much alcohol? Are you feeling unwell?"
"No, I'm perfectly fine, thank you."
"Really? You're strong, I'm sure of it."
Is she a heavy drinker? Or maybe she doesn't get drunk at that level. Either way, I have to make sure I don't look uncool. Yes Yes.
"Then, I'll be waiting for you on the first floor, okay?"
"Ah yes. Understood."
Only her voice drifts away. What is it? I feel like I'm a nobleman or some kind of husband. Wow, I feel a tingle down my spine.
Now, I scoop up some hot water in the bathroom and waIs my face in the sink in the dressing room. I took out a towel from her inventory and wiped herself dry. I turned on the water, rinsed my mouth out, wet the edge of the towel, wrapped it around her finger and scrubbed it. Well, I guess I need to find a toothbrush and toothpaste. Somehow, it's just not polished enough. There's been a lot of talk about it, so it seems likely.
When I came to this world, I learned that I could use Healing Magic. By chance, I had severe pain in my molars, and when I reflexively applied 'Recover (Healing Spell)', the pain subsided. However, no fundamental treatment has been found. So I decided to try my hand at treating cavities.
What is regeneration? I wonder if it can fix things like this? If I were to return to Japan like this, the dentists would go out of business, without a doubt. I guess there's no way to fix the alignment of my teeth, huh? If I could imagine an 'ideal teeth alignment', it might be worth a try. But I don't think I'll ever have such an opportunity.
I'm thinking of asking Rosalier-san if they have cavities in this country. But I don't have the luxury for that at the moment.
Anyway, after that, I'm heading towards the living room and dining room, where I drank with Rosalia-san yesterday. Speaking of which, this mansion has four rooms and a living room with dining room, so it's a 4LDK. There are two extra rooms, but I'll think about that later.
Rosalia-san pulled out a chair for me, and I wondered if this was just routine for her. But for now, I'll just sit down obediently. I'm pretty sure she did the same thing yesterday.
In front of me, there was a splendid breakfast. On the plate, there were lightly boiled leafy greens, maybe? I'm not sure if they can be eaten raw. They were dressed with a homemade dressing made of oil, salt, and spices.
Beside that, there was a long, thinly sliced piece of what seemed like the crispy surface of some beast's meat. It had been grilled to a crisp and looked incredibly delicious in its 5-millimeter-thin slices. And next to that, there was a sunny-side-up egg. There were eggs here too. I don't know what kind of eggs they are though.
Thinly sliced bread, both sides beautifully toasted to a fox-like color. Perhaps that's butter? Something has been spread on it. A fragrant aroma wafts up to my nose. This must be what it means to whet one's appetite, right?
"Is it okay to eat this?"
"Yeah, for Goshujin-sama, I humbly prepared this. It's just breakfast, so it's nothing special."
Rosalia-san is being humble, but it's quite impressive. It's a decent breakfast, more than enough.
"Itadakimasu."
I put my hands together and say the standard 'Itadakimasu.'
"Do your hometown people say 'Itadakimasu' for meals too?"
Oh, it gets mixed up with 'Itadakimasu' when bathing a hot water. Um...
"Yeah, I guess it includes gratitude for the person who cooked the meal and provided the ingredients, right?"
"What's the appropriate response to 'Itadakimasu?"
"Yeah, if Rosalia-san says it, maybe 'Please, go ahead and enjoy' is good? But that might be a bit too formal, and since it's a response to 'Itadakimasu,' maybe just 'Yes' is fine."
"Okay, yes."
"Yeah, it feels warm. Itadakimasu."
