Chapter 130 Busy Day Part Nine - 'I'M Home'
I set up this water purifying Magic Tool in the kitchen and then headed over to the guild's new building. It looks like the exterior walls are the last thing to be finished, huh? It's only about 20% done, but it's gonna have this cool brick mosaic pattern too.
But, what's gonna happen to the original guild? Are they gonna fix up the exterior walls? Otherwise, adventurers coming to Swiglefen might get all mixed up, right?
And do they have to finish moving in today? The staff wearing guild uniforms are running around like crazy, going here and there.
"T-thank you for everything."
Nelliza-san gave me a deep bow. Then, the other staff members stopped and bowed to me too. But soon after, they all went back to their tasks. They really seem super busy.
"Why is everyone being so polite to me?"
"Just give it up. Tatsuma-san is, in a way, more important than the king."
"Yet, there's still no security around me, as always."
"Oh, well, they said 'it's not necessary,' you know?"
"Geez..."
That's true though.
After setting up the Magic Tool, I was guided to the courtyard. It's definitely a courtyard, but it has a ceiling with small glass windows that let the light in, giving it more of a greenhouse feel.
Even though it's the middle of winter, it's warm here. There are trees and flowers planted all around, giving it a real garden feel. There are tables and benches set up, but it's easy to see from anywhere due to security, so I quickly found Centrena and two other people.
"Well, I can only help you up to this point."
"Thank you, Julienne-san."
"Please give my regards to Rosalier-san as well."
Rosalier-san used to get along well with her. And they probably haven't seen each other recently.
"Yeah, I understand."
Mahiru-chan and Asaya-kun were petting Centrena happily. It made me think, 'Ah, they're being all lovey-dovey here.' If I couldn't go outside, I might start to feel suffocated. Even though it's spacious, there's nowhere to hide. It's likely that everyone would start feeling awkward and wanting to leave.

It looks like Centrena noticed me. So, I approached the three of them.
"Uncle, this kid is really friendly."

After that, I was shown the fingertips of the two, and I confirmed that the symptoms of Oso's (Dreadful element) poison hadn't progressed much. Both of them seem more stable than when we last met at the guild. What I did that day wasn't wrong. That alone gave me some peace of mind.
Apparently, Risleyria-san dismissed the upper echelons at the shrine. Noble families who don't recognize her as queen were also dismantled. All the Healing Attribute magicians who were left out were made guild staff and are now providing daily healing services. That's why the effects of Oso's poison seem to be at this level.
Today at the royal castle, they didn't have any magic tools, so they were buying water from the guild just like everyone else in the town. I brought 20 of them, so now there will be even more water available, and there will be fewer Oso poison incidents.

These kids, if they grow up well, might become the king and queen of this country, or maybe the queen and her husband? Either way, they'll likely inherit the position from Risleyria-san.
Knowing Risleyria-san, they might be raised quite strictly. Even Seteas-san turned out like that, after all.
I was bid farewell by the two of them, then I took off right from in front of the drawbridge. Well, it wasn't me who flew, it was Centrena who flew for me.
After that, we arrived at Watterhills in the afternoon. When I returned to the mansion, Corbett-san had already arrived. I can see that he is not sleeping well. He has dark circles under his eyes...
"'Recovery (Healing Spell)'. How was it?"
"It was amazing."
"I really feel like he is a child..."
Corbett-san is having fun like a child, and Brigitte-san is stunned.
"If you do this, this is what will happen."
The operating time can be adjusted using a key. There are 10 keyholes, and you can insert a short key into them to set the time. The Magic Tool, which is powered by magical concepts, is controlled by a physical device. Magic Tool is very deep.
"By switching from right to left, the operating time will be longer."

"The one on the far right is Swiglefen, and two spaces apart is Watterhill's."
I see. Think of Swiglefen as 1, and 3x as Watterhill's. This means up to 10 times longer operating time.

"So, how many units can you prepare?"
"I have prepared 10 units."
"Seriously?"
Even Brigitte-san would be shocked.
Before leaving Watterhill's, I headed to a shop where Rosalier-san told me about meat processing. It's a place where they directly buy from the guild, like a meat merchant or a wholesale meat distributor.
The processed meat from here is supplied to places like skewers shops. I heard that there are similar shops in Swiglefen where the guild is also located.
"Thank you."
"Oh, Saint-sama. You're not Rosalier-san, are you?"
"That's right. Is this one also good?"
"Yes, it is. Thank you."
So, I went to a store where they sell vegetables and bought a bunch of stuff, then put everything in the inventory. Now I'm all set and ready to go.
"Well then, shall we go back to Ensgard?"
'Kuu'
Even in this world, the wind blows from the north during winter. Ensgard is even further north than Watterhill, so I can tell that the wind is blowing from that direction.
That's why it feels like it took a bit longer to come here than when I was going. But I made it back to Ensgard safely.
"Oh!"
'Kuu?'
"I forgot to stop by the guild in Watterhill."
'Kuu...'
It's okay though, because Privia-san is also here. She said it's fine to report tomorrow.
I washed Centrena thoroughly at the stable on the first floor, brushed her, had dinner, and then came back to my room. I soaked in the bath up to my shoulders, warmed up, and now I'm here.
"Aaah... that was a nice bath—— Wait, Centrena, what are you doing there again?"
I could tell right away from the gleaming eyes outside the terrace. There was Centrena, looking this way. I opened the terrace door with a sense of disbelief. Then, as if it was the most natural thing to do, she came into the room and flopped down in the middle of the living room in front of the bedroom.
'Kuu'
She must be saying she's going to sleep. When I felt that, she was already snoring away. I just went to the bedroom and sprawled out on the bed.
Left Ensgard, went to Watterhill, then straight to Swiglefen, back to Watterhill, and finally back to Ensgard; essentially a full day's march. It was a really busy day.
"――Wow. I-I was surprised. Centrena-san, why are you here again? And what is Goshujin-sama doing?"
Rosalier woke up with a surprised voice, and I thought, "Oh, I knew it." Before I could say "I'm home," of course, I was scolded.
