"I thought I'd take inspiration from the traditional costumes of Mikage-san's hometown. I think it suits her really well."
The mysterious Kyunei had somehow snuck up behind me and whispered in my ear while resting her chin on my shoulder.
The outfit Kyunei wore before was different in style, but it had the same alluring charm. If I called Kyunei in that outfit "alluring," then the current Mikage could be described as "elegant," maybe.

Kyunei, who had been watching our interaction, chuckled once again.

I threw my words and gaze at Kyunei, then I moved away from her and stood behind Mikage, placing my hands on her shoulders.
"Look, Mikage-san."
"Yes... um, okay."
Mikage nodded once in response to Kyunei's words. After a short while, her gaze wandered around anxiously, but eventually she took a deep breath and slowly looked at me.
"Yukina-sama... could you please show me some mercy?"
──It's an extremely embarrassing thing to talk about, but I couldn't understand the meaning behind Mikage's words. I thought it might be because of the unique way she speaks in her hometown.
'So basically, Mikage wants you to "embrace" them, you know, partner?'
