Volume 6 Chapter 54 Fluffy Whipped Cream Coated
The magic shaping the drops melts smoothly and overflows into my mouth.
Sir Ciel's throat goes gulp.
As Sir Ciel's tongue touches mine, I feel a sudden shiver. It dawns on me that I'm doing something unusual, and the sensation of his tongue against my skin is both gentle and awkward, like a small, smooth stone floating on his tongue.
Sir Ciel's fingertips gently touch my cheek, tickling me.
Just a moment ago, I was completely absorbed.
I was desperate to help.
But once I realized it, it was already too late.
I, with Sir Ciel──when it was the fried horse mackerel, Sir Ciel was filled with Nel-Nel, and since the fried fish is big, our mouths didn't really touch directly.
So, I didn't think much of it.
But this.
This is.
This is not good.
Our lips are touching. Not just the lips, but more, as if begging for magic, the tip of his tongue brushes against the part of my lips that overlap.
The sensation of his tongue slipping in through the gap I accidentally opened in my lips.
It feels warm and soft.
The protruding gem occasionally hits the inside of my mouth. It feels like I've turned into some delicious food and am being eaten.
"Mr, Ci, hel... ah, fu..."
Not knowing what to do, but thinking this might be necessary to heal Sir Ciel's body, I close my eyes and accept the sensation.
I'm feeling shy about this, but... I won't let embarrassment win.
I'm not scared. I don't hate it.
Our lips gently touching, his soft fingers tracing mine. It feels as wonderful as savoring a sweet treat.
This is probably Eir-Eir drop strawberry milk flavor.
But it feels even sweeter.
"...mm."
Feeling breathless, I tightly grab Sir Ciel's arm.
I was leaning over Sir Ciel, but I gently pull away from him.
Sir Ciel's head is on my lap, and his melting red eyes reflect my blushing face in shame.
Sir Ciel's skin, which had cracked and split, is now smoothly covered with new flesh, healing itself.
Broken fingers, arms, the gash in my side, and the heart with a big crack.
Everything is healing.
The little fluffy Fairy dragon that had curled up next to Sir Ciel got up and licked his cheek.
Sir Ciel finally opened his eyes wide as if waking up, then hurriedly sat up from my lap.
As he lifted his upper body, he wobbled and almost fell, so I hugged him to support him.
"Uh, um... I'm sorry, Ms. Lydia. That was just, well, my survival instinct kicking in..."
Sir Ciel looked unusually flustered.
His brows were furrowed in worry, and he looked down to hide his flushed cheeks.
His white cheeks were as beautiful as always, and the sky-blue gems sparkled in his flowing hair.
Even his solid male body, trimmed of excess fat, had red gems popping out here and there.
But there were no more cracks.
The painful red mineral surfaces were no longer visible.
But, survival instinct.
Something about survival instinct.
It was the first time I heard that word.
"Survival instinct...?"
"It's like a desire to live. I unconsciously drained your magic to repair my body. I'm sorry, is it painful for you?"
"I'm fine. It's you I'm worried about, Sir Ciel. Are you okay? Oh, right, I'm angry... You idiot, Sir Ciel! You shouldn't do dangerous things... You could have died... idiot!"
"Yeah, I'm sorry."
"Sir Ciel should just stay cozy in bed forever. Take a warm bath, sleep in a blanket, eat delicious food... Ugh, I'm so glad you're okay, and your body is healing..."
"Thank you, Ms. Lydia."
Sir Ciel hugged me as I cried.
"I'm angry, you know... But... thank you for protecting everyone..."
"This happened because I didn't do anything and kept pretending not to see. It's my responsibility. Even though I was in a position related to Wisteria and Edelstein, I didn't try to get closer. If only I had realized earlier about Eirnelys' existence and the danger of the Magic Stones piled up in Edelstein..."
"Stop saying things like that, it's not good... Sir Ciel hasn't done anything wrong, and... I might end up disliking you...!"
"That would be... troubling."
Sir Ciel said this with a genuinely troubled look, so I wrapped my arms around his broad back and looked down.
"...Welcome back, Sir Ciel. It's okay now. I'm here, and everyone is here. Sir Ciel is... right here, by my side."
"...Yes."
"Ah, I'm angry, so I won't talk to you starting tomorrow...! But right now, it's special."
"...Thank you, Ms. Lydia."
Before I knew it, Sir Stefan, Sir Roxas, and Elder Brother Chrisrain had gathered around us. Mr. Lucian and Sir Rail were facing Sir Galeon, protecting Gem's People.
"Princess! You'll give me a kiss as a reward for my hard work, just like Ciel, right? A kiss from the princess is a classic reward for a hero!"
"Ciel, you were conscious, weren't you? That's too much. You should accept the punishment of not being able to talk to Lydia."
Sir Rail waved his hands and said loudly.
Mr. Lucian sighed a bit unhappily at that.
"Ciel. I'm glad you're safe. It seems like your awakening was a bit intense, but anyway, I'm just glad you're okay."
Sir Stefan said with a gentle smile that seemed to wrap everything in warmth.
The moment he looked at my face, he turned bright red with a loud "poof!" sound.
"Lydia, um, even though it was an urgent situation, doing that in front of people... as a father, I can't overlook it, or rather, um, how should I put it, it's not good!"
"Y-yes..."
I trembled and replied, feeling scared after being scolded by Sir Stefan.
"Your Highness, even if you're blushing while giving a warning, it's not convincing."
"Elder Brother Chrisrain, you saw Roxas just now, right? He wiped out a huge area of the ground."
Elder Brother Chrisrain shook his head, looking at Roxas with a sigh.
"Th-that's, um, Ciel! Even if you were about to die, that's not okay. That's just not okay. Lydia, you too..."
"Ah, yeah..."
Yeah, that's right. I know.
Everything was seen, wasn't it?
I cried and begged Sir Ciel not to die, and then...
And then, something really amazing happened.
"Ahhh..."
So embarrassing. So embarrassing. It's mortifying.
Tears that had stopped flowed down like a waterfall.
As I was filled with shame and a mix of other emotions, Sir Ciel touched my cheek.
The magic that overflowed in response to my feelings rained down from the sky like whipped cream.
